It's a melting pot of classic hard rock, grunge, progressive rock, classic and modern pop that is both edgy and thoughtful... in the quintessential 3 piece of guitar, bass, and drums, it's strength is in it's simplicity, well written songs delivered with passion and honesty, excellent musicianship, and an excitingly professional live show.

DIGITAL CHEMISTRY- "Progressive Alternative Rock for the new Millennium" - with influences that span the entire history of rock, and musical tastes that go from pop and classic rock to eclectic progressive rock and jazz, DIGITAL CHEMISTRY is the foundation of a completely new musical movement in Seattle... what does it sound like?

No one in Seattle for starters.. although the sound recalls classic rock and metal, but... re-invented anew and merged with progressive rock sensibilities, pop song writing, and arena rock delivery...

The sound is powerful and driving, yet spacious... and the songs are uplifting, questioning, hopeful, and honest...with memorable melodies, great harmonies, moving guitar solos, and uniquely familiar songwriting, DIGITAL CHEMISTRY is one of a kind...

DIGITALCHEMISTRY was born as the studio side project of founder and long-time professional guitarist, Rob Fowler, and is named after his project studio "Digital Chemistry Recording and Productions" (est 98'). The project has had various iterations, names, and line-ups, as his music has evolved from instrumental guitar rock, and video game music, to long-form progressive rock, and later, progressive metal...and now the culmination, Digital Chemistry...

Rob Fowler / guitars and lead vocals: Rob has been a fixture on the So. Seattle music scene for many years as touring club guitarist/ vocalist, live sound and recording engineer/ producer, session man, on call guitarist, and original artist. He is an amazingly great guitarist with wonderful tone, speed, and musicallity. He is also a great vocalist and frontman, who "brings it" every performance. His skills as a producer engineer have allowed him to refine his style to reflect his influences, without imitating them. Rob is the true believer and spiritual head of Digital Chemistry, leading his mates on a musical journey through life, and all it's adventures.

Cliff Peddigrew/ bass and backing vocals: Cliff has been both original artist, and club band bassist/ vocalist in California, Illinois, and now has returned to the NW after a several year hiatus. Cliff weilds the mighty 6 string bass, but doesn't let the instruments' melodic ability outweigh it's thunderous bottom. That said, his inate musicallity makes he and Rob a formidable guitar/ bass team...both capable of dangerous flights of fancy, and yet can "lock step" a groove...Cliff was once member of the Ca. based original group "Saucy Jack", and recorded two cd's with them.

Glenn Strom/ drums and percussion: A native of the Eastside Seattle area, Glenn has been in and out of music for more than 2 decades. Early on, landing a gig with up and coming prog group from Seattle, Mantis, then taking several years off to raise a family, and play in club bands. Glenn returned to the original music scene only a few years ago, playing drums in some local projects before finding out about Digital Chemistry's need for a guy of his skills...Glenn is a "smooth and by the numbers" drummer... groove is king, feel is everything, and his time and meter...straight and true...

Digital Chemistry just finished their debut ep "Machine Made Man": availiable for purchase at www.reverbnation.com/digitalchemistryband

Digital Chemistry is handled by LRG Management (Linda Connor), has several shows on the books for early fall 2011, and is pursuing distribution and label support.

It's now been 8 months and change since we "rebuilt" the band from the ground up, renamed it and have done just a ton of shows...we're now a tight, clean, pop-prog machine...and no we have no interest in becoming another Tool clone...buzz is building in our little corner of the world, and everything is right as rain...

The band is getting ready to record it's debut ...we'll have 14...or 15 tracks depending, and we will be self producing it, with outside buss mastering and final mastering... artwork will be done with help as well...expect it to be done somewhere early summer...

With the addition of Cliff and Glenn, our focus is now towards writing in a more pop/ AOR arena, but still with an emphasis on real musicianship, and flair for power pop progressive rock...Cliff is turning out to be a great lyrical colaborator as well, and our themes will continue to morph as the band grows tighter...

see us on Facebook...

and check out our live videos of band on it's way up...

Peace, Rob/ Digital Chemistry
