Well, I've been a part of this site for several years now. I remember when we had no Artist pages. All the activity took place in the forum. I have always promised myself that my main goal would be to share my art with listeners. Reviews although nice has always been on the bottom of my list. I know now that I am sadly in the minority so I am taking a self imposed hiatus from the artists pages. I wish everyone here all my best and send each and everyone all my love. This has been no easy desicion for me to make. I've spent many sleepless nights pondering this move. Todd runs a great site, he wants nothing but the best for every member here and has always treated me like gold. All my love and respect to each and every person here!

I was doing some practicing this morning and came up with a lil diddle. Sounded kind of catchy to me so I did a bit of work with on it, added some extra layers etc. As I was messing around with it Gary Powers came over and immediately started writing some lyrics. He ran home, grabbed his mic and laid down a couple of vocal tracks, real fast like. Spoke to KED shortly afterwards and asked if he wanted to do something different, A super fast colab. Of course KED was all over it, he's always been into the one take thing. so anyways here you go, the fastest colab in mixpo history I think lol. Called Beauty on the beach. Very little mixing so far, just some EQ and panning, just had fun, and that really is what it's all about isn't it?

This is still a work in progess (so go easy on me will ya . I've barely touched on the vocals and have a ton of tweeking to do still but thought I'd share the experience with all of you none the less in the meantime . Enjoy

Rick Wright, keyboardist and a founding member of Pink Floyd, died yesterday after a battle with cancer. He was 65. Among Wright’s most well-known works as a member of Pink Floyd are co-writing credits on “Us & Them,” “The Great Gig in the Sky” and the Atom Heart Mother, is no longer with us. Rest In Peace my friend !!

Well the last piece for the LISTEN project is finally done. This willbe the last song on the CD and is more of an outro than an actual song.

The listen Project was a joy to do and a journey I will never forget and forever cherish. Working with KED was simply an amazing experience for me. A professional to the truest sense.

Well now it's time to fine tweek the mixes, get them through the master process and then off into the marketing world.

I think this may have been the 1st song I ever uploaded to Guitarist Works. I never felt it was quite complete but after talking to Keph about doing a colab I had no doubt that he was the missing link. Well judge for yourselves. Ok, so i was messing around for a couple of hours and came up with this piece. Nothing serious just having some fun playing and wanted to share with my friends. Definately needs a good mix so go easy on me.... spent an entire 2 hours on it....lol. Oh, one more thing, this 70 plus track maniac only used a grand total of 7 tracks. Better go to bed before I get any more bright ideas...hehe.
