Back in 1901, a huge fire broke out and burned most of downtown Jacksonville, Florida. Right after I moved to the area I read the story about the fire and thought it would be a good idea to tell the story in song. I wrote the lyrics to this song and now 18 years later I finally get it recorded.

Here's a link on the history... http://jaxhistory.com/greatfire2.htm

A big thanks goes out to Michael Nunley (FocusPlayer) for suppyling his most excellent vocal talents to the song. He did such an amazing job and gave it that emotional touch it needed for the type of content involved.

Hi all you music lovers out there in IMSland. I just want to send out a BIG "Thank you"; "Grazie"; "Arigato" and any other cultural greetings for all the nice comments about my music of late. I don't get online much these days because of that little thing we all hold so precious...Time.

I would love to get on here and listen to all the phenomenal music you guys and gals share on this terrific site we have here. Maybe one day I can slow down and take in some of the fantastic pieces and start reviewing once again like in the good 'ol beginning days of Guitaristworks. Anyway, thanks again and have a most excellent day.
