Hard Rock/Metal has been a big part of my life for 30+yrs. Yep, you read it right, “30”! Grab your jaw – it’s ok, I’ll explain. You are probably either a 20-something murmuring to yourself “wow, this dude’s ancient” or perhaps a “middle-aged” person, like myself, reminiscing about all the great music that’s been created since the early 80’s. Who cares? Well – I think no matter what you do, mechanic, carpenter or guitarist, you only get better with experience. (Well, ok that’s kind of a general rule. Not “everybody” gets better. There is this thing called talent that comes into play – but you know what I mean, right?) Anyway, 30+yrs of hard rocking has definitely rubbed off. Most importantly, you can hear it in the music I write and record where it matters the most. I’ve taken those 30+yrs and forged a sound that’s uniquely me.

I started out as a drummer, but my interest quickly turned to guitar in the early 80’s. Somewhere around 1987 I lost count of the number of bands I had played in. I’m a firm believer in diversification and how it can only make you stronger at what you do, so not all those bands were Hard Rock or Metal. Some were wedding bands, gulp, but musically it just added to my arsenal of experiences helping to shape and define the music I create today. Oh, and that Marshall Head had to be paid for some way too…

After taking a break in the 90’s, I started recording again in early 2000 and released several singles on music sites such as MP3.COM (before it became the corporate cesspool it is today). I enjoyed several #1 songs on MP3.COM in the instrumental rock and metal categories.

In 2005 I released my first independent recording entitled “Monster Me”, 10 instrumental hard rock/metal songs, featuring my own brand of guitar-slinging. It was met with good reviews and increased my fan-base around the world. My latest release, “Losing Faith”, adds vocals to the equation and closes the circle in terms of providing the ultimate expression for the music I write. Losing Faith features 9 Hard Rock/Metal songs that provide a unique combination of intensity, melody and experiences I’ve gathered over the last 30yrs.
