i seem to be moving
round and round and round and round and round
there must be a road
i've not yet found

i know it's here
but where am i
in this little circle
where sunshine is shy

 don't know if i got
 the summertime blues
 or if they don't fit me
 those tight autumn shoes

i know that i'm not
where i wanna be
and that's just about as
far as i can see

it don't feel right
i don't feel wrong
can't seem to define
where i belong

lack of patience is the curse
i singlehandedly
cast upon me

so gotta be patient

'Autumn Blues' is the first blues-song I ever wrote, October 2013 when feeling a bit, well, bluesy and locked up in tiny rainy little Holland.

My thoughts at the time were this:

'remnants of the raw
song of yesterday
still linger in my head

so i pick a new straw
to make 'm go away
with another song instead'
