billb summed it up quite well, seems to me. In a slightly uncomfortable way I enjoyed this. A lot. It is unique. I love the originality. Standing ovation from here.

I sat down, leaned back, and completely enjoyed this tune! It unfolds in a most interesting way, to me at least. Love the instrumentation. This was a pleasure and I appreciate you sharing this.

Love the floating guitars back and forth in the stereo field. Mighty fine guitar playing. A cool and interesting tune, too. I enjoyed this, Paul.

How I love this gorgeous sounding song of yours...Did you get Tom Petty to sing it for you?...Sounds so much like him..
I must have missed this one first time round, you can recognize Elmore James style in this. Almost the same lead break I use when I cover Dust my Broom live. Nice work liked this one well done
Absolutely beautiful playing and a great tribute to this man. My son is currently taking a college course in the histiry of rock music and they have been studying the early blues roots-I can't wait to play this for him!!!!
Jeff
I LOVE the blues from back in those days. The foundation of Rock & Roll! This was a song very well done!! Awesome slide guitar and piano! Holley
This was supposed to have been done by us.
If you like Elmore James I'm sure you'll like Hookers rendition of a slow EJ's tune with a bit uptempo for sure. Coming sometime soon. Nice change. Can't wait. Have patience.
I will be doing another Elmore James tune very likely, maybe collab. in the near future. hanks to all who enjoyed and reviewed this one.
I need to get my teaching preparation set up as an 'Internet teacher' under the Ontario Ministry of Education, being situated in a resort area in N.W. Ontario, Canada. Kool!!!
Look up 'Pickle Lake, Ontario' on Google Earth... Then you'll almost find me. ha,haa. Don't zoom down too far, or you may drown in the huge million dollar view of a lake infront of my temporary residence. Thanks all.
Love the playing.....excellent lines and playing....a fitting tribute. Great stuff!!!!!
You said it all so right Hooker; This needed no extra, not even bass, to give it that early 60's lp, sound. The piano does fine with the bass keys.
The review/comments coming from a slide talent & singer as you my friend means alot to me, with those inspiring words Erik. -Your friend. -Vesa.
Nice song here Vesa...really cool track with atmosphere. Lovn that slide guitar...real bluesy sound, well arranged and performed...thanks for an excellent morning listen - Gordon
Thank you Dazed, Dace, Lucindra & Reapserg. Most kind of you all. Made my day.
interesting piece. has that old recording feel/sound. love the piano playing in here.
A tribute to the original king of electric slide, Elmore James, and the man who started blues rock, rollin.
