Had to stop by and listen to your latest. Love the deepness of the melody. Lyrics to match. Love it! Great collaboration!

What to say - this is a fun one, the cool classic rythmn guitar into and the solo over the tremolo guitar scrunch was wonderful, very memorable, fine writing indeed, great song here, thanks for that!

I was going to say something really nice about this tune, but I forgot what it was. Maybe it was this a fun piece of work. Maybe it was how much I love the attitude of this. Maybe I was...

Ron, you are a tune writing machine, sir. This is really nicely done. A laid-back kind of energy. And some great sounds in here. Mighty fine!

gotta know i'm diggin this, love the horns! killer vox!
and the way the guitar dances around in ther is sweet!
hell yea!
What a sweet combo of horns and Kool guitar; fine interplay of vocals; thsi si very well arranged. Fine soundmix. Haven't been to the Bayou; Florida is the closest. Very nifty groove. You got it KB. Catchy; indeedy.
Gotta love them horns and the oo,ooh, oooohs are fun-ky.
Great guitar playing. Tasty. A fast Wes Montgomey playing them octaves.
EXCELLENT. -Vesa.
The performances are great in this tune. Cool vocals, amazing guitar playing, and the trombone really added to the overall mood!
Love the feel of this KB. It's got that nice gritty swamp rock sound. Great atmosphere and the trombone is an unusual twist but it works perfectly. Your vocals are, as always, great and very distinctive. Like the use of the double voices echoing each other. Some really sweet guitar work going on too. Excellent work. Great track all round.
Cheers
Brian
Hey KB!! This could be embarrassing, but not sure I've ever stopped by your corner of the world. Well, if not...MY MISTAKE. You've got a few things thrown in to this song, and it's just plain cool. CCR+George Benson+Tab Benoit...blended well. Excellent licks on geetar, engaging vocals and lyrics. Tight!! Impressive my man! ~Blake
Very cool song and vibe man! Love everything about this. I heard this awhile ago and glad I found you again. Gonna sit back and Groove with it!
William
That Never Was
Hi KB. The trombone is a surprise, you don't hear them much in R&R songs! I like the rock n' roll jazziness of this track. You sure do have a unique way with melodies in making them very catchy. Well done!
Farrell
Catchy riffs from the start, and I love the brass work... your throaty vocal blows me away, a very cool track with all the things on the right place, very live sounding, energy & 1st clas band work + finest picking guitars. The mix is perfect as it is.
Hi KB,, .. i remeber listening to this track a couple times at Mxp. That's no bad thing,.,,, i'm glad to have the chance to listen more.
I assume the vocals are you.. ? you achieve a very characteristic sound, perfectly suited for the track and it's concept.
I did not notice the brass before. ? One awesome thing is,, this definately sounds like real brass playing. So often any more, it will be a software module. Nothing can replace actual human expression on a real instrument.
This track generates a fun time feeling .
With highest regards Shane
I'm finding your stuff is ... unique. Different. Very refreshing. This song has the coolest underlying groove with the bass and chorded guitar ... oh bad that mellow, clean, jazzy solo. Now that is the stuff, KB. Nice job on this.
A very good, solid song indeed KB.
As DiCarlo noted already, yes I can hear the Roger Chapman quality to the vocals, and seeing as he is one almighty vocalist, the comparrison to him is most definately a compliment
Some excellent lead work,VERY clean and flowing, and at times downright dazzling!
All round excellent musicanship.
Has a real classic feeling about the song,a sense of class in the composition.
Yep,a most enjoyable listen indeed.
Nigel.
hey kb...that is some sweet guitar on this track. and i also like those horns....this song has a nice groove to it. i'll come back later and listen to some more.
This is a cool song. Cool composition.
hello kb!! finally got your way!! what a groove and that rythmn guitar really drives this catchy tune--fantastic vocals--one of my favs by you--guitar work is clean and mean!! love it!!
KB!!! I just got here.....WOW!!! GREAT to see you again!! I have to say....you are one artist, I've been missing. I enjoyed keeping up with your music. Don't know this song "DOWN ON THE BAYOU"...But hey!! I DO NOW!!! Great track, Kb!! Nice jazzy solo in there, the horns were an EXCELLENT additive.
