I agree with Mike-K there that the singing just does it for this song. An EXCELLENT EXPRESSIVE composition guys. Very good rhythm. The singing is darn original style; very tasteful guitar playing and a good arranging. Fine pausing with a change in tempo; good hamonies make it quite a FAB tune. Keep it up. Love it. A real unique sound. GREAT production.

Absolutely dig the vocal arrangement and how it's sung in this piece a whole lot!!! Man, this is a great rocker with some expressive lyrics and vocals. Those bass runs are mighty fine as is the lead guitar! It's on my show this weekend!
Cheers,
Mike

....comin off from the last track and on to this one..(cause i admire the band effort) I was plesently surprised with this creation.
Vocally dominated and sung very well (harmonies & contentment) love the progressive feel of the instrumentation.
some very nice guitar werk in the latter part...hit the nail..first swing.!
Impressed with the team effort guys...it shows well. b.

diggin that bass.. the band kicks in with a good mix.. i hear aaron in there strong.. wow what a great surprise.. i didn't expect such awesome vocals.. didn't read the info.. don't know who's singing.. and some real nice vox harmonies (my thing) that feature not just the stock intervals..
i dig those vocals man.. reminds me of many but i can't put my finger on it.. this is really jazz rock.. rhythms, harmonies and note choices are too sophisticated too be classic rock.. I didn't mean to leave out the drummer.. awesome playing bro and so nice to hear real drums.. most of us don't have that luxury.. aaron i've saved for last cuase he's the man and very nicely saved his solo for the end.. lol.. aaron man you are going places.. this was a great extended bit of playing.. I like the was you use dorian.. jazzy.. and the multi-layering is ways cool.. that staccato riff that keeps coming back is awesome.. cheers guys.. glad to have music of your persuasion on this site..

This is no MIDI at all, all sound here are so professional. The level of sensation is beyond words, like soaping in a whirlpool of love. So dazing, beautiful music in one take. The choir transition is very well rendered, I like the soothing feeling. And not forgetting the vocalist, puttting so much passion in the rendition.
With million of love from Singapore.

You guys have a good sound! I like the pull back in the middle section, makes a nice dynamic change in the music. You have a sort of jazzy sound but very melodic and pleasing. Great vocal work and guitar! It sounds as if you all work together well.
Andrew’s Ave was formed in the summer of ’07 with the mind set of creating music that invokes dancing, subtle spiritual awakenings and breaking down barriers of a somewhat watered down music scene. Their self titled album was recorded in March of 08' at the University of Nebraska Omaha and was followed by a vigorous touring schedule throughout the Midwest. It’s hard to pin a genre on this band but some would argue it blends together jazz, jam, and prog-rock all in a wonderful musical fondue. They describe their sound as “screeching automobiles crashing into innocent bystanders with a side of funk”, but listeners and fans say otherwise: “Each song is completely different from the other, beautiful textures and symphonic bliss” – quoted from an imaginary fan.

Members:
Adam Boomer (Guitar)
Steve Patton (Piano)
Aaron Elliott (Bass)
Jason Elliott (Drums)

We just released our album on October 3rd. 2008. Feel free to check out or myspace page or email us at andrewsavenue@gmail.com if you would be interested in a copy.

Cheers!
