The Music here...
Dear Folks: I am so obliged to all good characters that planted such great reviews to my humble music. I do feel very enthusiastic about this site and the audience, which is loaded with warmth, receptivity and brotherhood!
I understand this was formerly a site devoted to guitar themes, players and so, but since 4 months ago, it became opened to all musical orientations, which makes it even greater an effective. I am planning to suscribe to a full service with larger bandwith.
Regarding my music; as listeners have realized, it is totally produced with synthetic instrumentation, mainly because it was my goal to achieve a close resemblance to the original instrumnents, the real ones, and I teach Digital Music Production at a local university in Guatemala.
Hence, I am now converting to mp3 some "guitar" pieces with some latin and south american songs being interpreted. Not original compositions but interpretations, trying to accomplish the same "natural" sound.
LA BIKINA
The first I'm uploading is named "La Bikina", and is an interpretation with 2 guitars, 2 violins, an acoustic bass and a discrete drummer, of a mexican song from Ruben Fuentes. Playing guitars and violins from a keyboard is a challenge if you want to keep the sound realistic and to generate as possible, the subtleties of both performances. Using only 6 fingers for the guitarrists and not more than 2 for the violiists.
You will find the story of "La Bikina" in the song description. It is really funny and gracious. Such as the melody. I will put the lyrics in spanish and a translation (not singable) for those who want to know whats the song meaning...
I hope good reviews for this one, from my good friends and menbers...
Thanks to ALL !!!!!! :D
