About "Blow Fly (A Tribute to Eddie Hazel)":
P-Funk, what else? "P-funk, uncut funk; THE bOmB!" (George Clinton) Over shadowed by the bigger names inblack rock guitar of the day, (Hendrix, Ernie Isley, etc.) Eddie "Maggot Brain" Hazel left an indeliable mark on 70's rock/funk guitar movement with his high octane, tone rich funky exploits with the group Funkadelic and this a tribute to one of my guitar "Unsung" heros. R.I.P. Maggot Brain..........Let it flow...........easy. : (

I like this one a whole lot archie.. and while i don't think everyone who plays fast has no feeling i sure am hearing your feeling.. that's what i like best.. some slow melodic passionate phrases and a few blazes.. man you are a great fellow guitarist who i thought at first was more of an RnB kind of singer.. glad i've heard these last 3.. we got lots in common you and me..

Now this is saturated with emotion. Excellent phrasing and the tones you use just seem to fit the song perfectly. This is some real blues, lovin every minute of it.

I could listen to your stuff all day. If you don't have all these songs gathered together on a CD, you should. That thang would be spinning in my car's player.
Your lead work on this is brilliant. So many guys just want to be speed demons -- playing a zillion notes without feeling. You obviously can play fast, but you also know how to say a ton in one note. Your playing demonstrates great maturity and balance.
