The inspiration for this track came from watching the newly remastered footage of the Apollo 11 landing. Coincidentally, I had completed the track just a couple of days before hearing of this competition. I have tried to incorporate the following elements into the track: The tranquility of space. The anxiety, excitement and triumphant feeling of managing to put a human being on the moon.
I hope you like it. Stuart

very enjoyable. it kinda has this floating through space, tron type of thing going on. It has this really cool upbeat melody and tempo and at the same time the pads and strings create a very spacey atomsphere. Good job. AJ

Autofonic is a solo electronica project based in Plymouth, UK.
The musical style is a mix of progressive old school electronica with harder, acidic melodies
and funky bass grooves. All tracks are created using tracking software (each note and sound is represented by characters and numbers on a vertically scrolling grid).

Main electronica influences:
Kraftwerk, Daft Punk, The Chemical Brothers, Lemon Jelly, The Prodigy, Orbital, Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis, Bomb the Bass etc.

Other influences:
Rock n roll, Disco, Classic Rock, Heavy Metal, Blues, Jazz, Ska, Reggae, Country and Western, Bluegrass and more.
