This song began life as a jam I used to play at Avalanche rehearsals...as a way for us to just loosen up...before serious rehearsal began. During the recording sessions this past July...the riffs seemed to be begging to be a song...and so I arranged it ...and spent a couple of weeks writing and re-writing the lyrics in a hotel room. The song has a very sexy rhythmic feel to it...and so it became obvious to me that the song should be sexy, too. I usually try to match up the musical and lyrical moods on the songs I write...and this one was so obvious...there was no other choice, really.
I have always believed that sex is just a very natural thing...something that "boys and girls do" because we're designed that way. I also believe it is a spiritual gift to us...and that something that is so natural and feels that good can't possibly be something to feel guilt or shame about. I also don't believe that men and women are monagamous by nature. I think THAT is a learned behavior...and something that we have been "programmed" to believe. To try to deny that part of ourselves is where I see many of the problems people have in their personal relationships...and it often stems from that faulty programming. Denying our basic drives...or feeling guilt or shame for having them...isn't a whole lot different than feeling ashamed of being alive...in my opinion. We're designed the way we are for a reason...and this song is all about exploring this most natural of all human instincts. And in addition to that...it's only rock and roll...and I LIKE IT!

I really like this track, so cool, with a struttin` beat.
Vox & harmonies suites the theme perfect. Arrangement is great, never loses it`s cool.
Classic.
This is a bit of a boogie style...hadn't used that cool word for awhile. Love the singing, lots of emphasis on the words; nice phrasing...good EXPRESSION. Fine guitar progression. Soooooooooo fine. Like this; might have reviewed it before; but would have said as now, "worth more listens", catchy song. Great arranging, like the drumming. Top notch production.
Nice tasteful solo, Great TUNE; GOOD MIX.

Woah. I usually don't go for the hard rock, but I'm glad I stopped by. The title says it all about the hook and groove in this tune. Great vocal delivery, especially the harmonies.
What did you use to produce this song? What kind of mike on the vocals? It's top-notch!
