Just cruising down the interstate… Free as the wind in my face Don’t believe in things like fate… born to run, born to race The road don’t ever wait…Gotta keep an even pace
Chorus
It’s the rumble of her engine The roar of her dual exhaust It’s knowing that I’m winning In a game that can’t be lost Some call it suicide But, it’s the thrill of the ride It’s the thrill of the ride…
V2
It’s rolling steel to Sturgis… winding out with no one around I’ll revel in prairie dust… breezing by an old Greyhound The rain won’t slow her thrust… bed is a blanket on the ground
Chorus
It’s the rumble of her engine The roar of her dual exhaust It’s knowing that I’m winning In a game that can’t be lost Some call it suicide But, it’s the thrill of the ride It’s the thrill of the ride…
Bridge:
The road carries you where you roam Freedom is a biker’s home Nothing like being alone Riding out into the unknown
Chorus
It’s the rumble of her engineThe roar of her dual exhaust It’s knowing that I’m winning In a game that can’t be lost Some call it suicide But, it’s the thrill of the ride its the thrill of the ride
There's a storm brewing on the horizon I hear the thunder roll In life I won’t pay a toll It feels like I’m flying
Some call it suicide Ooooooh, But, it’s the thrill of the ride.
Fade; thrill of the ride, thrill of the ride..

I enjoy writing/producing/recording/ and playing music. I have played with many different bands and musicians over the years most notably Tin Pan Alley and The Dee Ford Band. I have been married to my wife Paula for 24 years. My main influences would have to be The Allman Brothers, Marshall Tucker, CDB, Doobie Brothers, Wet Willie, Eric Clapton, The Eagles etc...and also Chicago, Blood Sweat and Tears, Ides of March, and the horn bands of the late 60's and early 70's. Some of my favorite guitarists are Eric Clapton, Duane Allman, Jimi Hendrix, Steve Morse, Dickie Betts, and way too many more to mention.lol!!
