Well I am no expert but this sounds more towards the austere sound (to my sensibilities) of English folk which always sounds to have a slighlty darker edge than say Irish folk but genre quibbles apart, the pure sounds here are sweet and deeply satifying. ftlpope

Having taken part in sing-arounds at folk clubs on many occasions. I can really appreciate what you've done here. This is a super song and I should imagine you get a lot of participation from the audience. Loved it well done

Beautiful performance from everybody, I may be french canadian but the roots of our folk music is Celtic so this touches a very sensible string in me, truly masters of the style you are. Specially apreciated the felt vocal performance.

Berkana are Neil Benton, Terry Armitage and Lou Finch who love to perform traditional, contemporary and self-penned folk songs and tunes. Together they perform an ever expanding list of traditional-idiom material on a variety of instruments, featuring their own arrangements and unaccompanied close harmonies.

Combined with their interpretations of more contemporary songs some say they also entertain with highly original material of their own.

For booking enquiries please contact us:

Telephone: 01274 682717
Email berkanafolk@gmail.com
