ACID RAIN
Watching the rain from the hands of the clock wishing the storm was over.
Lighting their cigarettes watch the smoke rise knowing they’re older...
Watching the rain from the hands of the clock wishing the storm was over.
Lighting their cigarettes watch the smoke rise knowing they’re older and wise.
And the rivers so clear and the end is so near and the waters a beautiful blue.
And lake is so clear but when you are near you can see that there is nothing to view.
Sweet smelling sole fish she flies in the wind and travels to pastures new.
Till she returns to the earth with a grin where everything’s vanished from view.
And the air is so clear and the end is so near and the waters a beautiful blue.
And lake is so clear but when you are near you can see there is nothing to view.
So you call up your conferences put in appearances argue till your black and blue.
While the forests get thinner your reason gets dimmer you turn over and watch something new.
And the rivers so clear and the end is so near and the waters a beautiful blue.
And lake is so clear but when you are near you can see there is nothing to view.
So you call up your conferences put in appearances argue till your black and blue.
While the forests get thinner your reason gets dimmer you turn over and watch something new.

Great song, serious subject matter. Well delivered, your vocals on this have a very Gilmour feel to them. Your backing is little short of inspirational. magic number well done

Very interesting and inspiring song. I would bump the vocal up just a slight bit -- I can make out the lyrics but they almost get lost in places. The music is gorgeous. Nicely done.

Hi I live in the English Lake District, the two songs currently up on Mixposure feature me on guitar vocals, Tony Collier Vocals Bass, and Frank Hall Drums. I first became aware of music as a small child through the likes of Joe Brown, then later on along came The Beatles and it all changed for me. But the biggest thing that made me pick up a guitar (that should read a guitar shape piece of plywood strung with the gut off my sisters beloved tennis racket) was when i first heard The Kinks All Day And All Of The Night. and to my mind one of the greatest rock songs ever written. Thats when it really changed, like most guitarists my age I moved on to the likes of Rory Gallagher, Peter Green, Jimi Hendrix ECT. Then it became time to strike up the band, the first ones were appalling but to me they were the biz. As I progressed as a musician the bands I played in also progressed, one of the bands to some success playing large halls all over the north of England But that record deal always eluded us probably due to some of the members reluctance to pack their jobs in. Cie la vie At present I am in a band called the Assamarra playing originals and covers. I play a left handed Stratocaster called Sunny straight into a Marshall, I am more at home as a Rock/Blues player these days but in the past I have played Heavy Rock, Pop, R'n'R, Blues, Country, and Folk. Tony and Frank have moved on to other things but you can expect more music from me in the future.
