Song Lyrics
You stand there, motionless and cold with sweat Beyond upset with old regret Your words won't do, and even if they could Where I once stood is good for good...
You stand there, motionless and cold with sweat Beyond upset with old regret Your words won't do, and even if they could Where I once stood is good for good But I'm here, and you can't see
As the leaves change their colors and descend And the days and nights stay balanced end on end As the melodies of birds float through the air When I die, I'll be everywhere
Don't leave me to face this life alone You cried and moaned before we'd known I'm sure this world will hesitate to let you be But you'll be free, so try and see You'll be much better than me
As the cities reach relentless toward the sky And the endless flow of traffic passes by As the people move like ants without a care When I die, I'll be everywhere
Recall for a moment all those walks we'd take All the love we'd make, all the rules we'd break I should have tried harder just to listen to The words you'd use for the things I'd do I saw red, you saw blue
As the lovers break their ties and move along And those broken hearted sing their lonely songs As some souls will become one and some will tear When I die, I'll be everywhere
As your tears dot the carpet one by one And your face begins to glisten in the sun Don't be afraid of what's to come, though it's not fair 'Cause when we die, we'll be everywhere

what a great song bro..love your high, tenor vocals and the subtle, sparkling arrangement of guitars, xylophone, tubular bells and kick drum..great layering and a beautiful dynamic to the song..sounds like a real winner...killer chorus too btw!

I’ve been recording songs and covers on my own at home for about four years, while at the same time building a collection of folk and bluegrass instruments that I introduce into new tracks as I go. I played regular gigs with a couple of different folk and indie rock bands around central Pennsylvania and put out an EP with one of them in the same time period, but this EP is the first I’ve put together entirely on my own.
