Song Lyrics

For once, the birth of this song came with the text, and its first two verses : "we are made of simple things, so why simple things are not what we succeed?" : it sounded like the story of my life ! So, I wanted a music that sounds like a tribal rythm, that evokes shamanism, witchcraft or something like that : short, an ancestral knowledge to which I do not have access...

Very nice electro pop sound and nice drum tones- Very well done all round- the arrangement is quite interesting and suits the excellent lyric.
Very professional work. The fine instrumentation choices particularly the use of banjo alters the mood slightly giving a lighter contrast. Very enjoyable very fine work. mmmm?/ I thought Bleen was a new number between 6 and 7... lucky for us, it's apparently something more ;-)

Bleen is a new Belgian singer/songwriter Let yourself immerge into his unique poetic and melancholic pop-rock universe... *** This Belgian singer/songwriter releases here the first album of his new project : BLEEN - "Looking for Laika". After two years writing, recording and mixing, he produced this featured thirteen songs album. Then, discovering Yoad Nevo's world-famous talent (London), the songs were carefully given to him for the mastering final touch.
Pierre Surquin (aka BLEEN) is not totally unknown on the belgian scene : after two CDs signed by BANG! (the record label for the first album of the famous band 'dEUS') with his french pop project ("Laissez tomber le cirque" - 1999, and "Une affaire d'état" - 2002), at this time, Charles GARDIER - director of the world known festival "the Francopholies" - introduced him to the audience with these words: "... One of the greatest songwriters of tomorrow... ". He took part in several belgian bands during the first decade of the millennium, and occasionaly composed some scores for theater.
Listen now to Bleen's brand new release, his maturity project. Be the first to discover and make discover this new pop sound, unique, subtle. Taste his true and rare voice tone, away from artifice and glitter, the feet rooted in the twentieth century, the head wandering in the twenty-first ...
