<p><strong>Hi Everyone, </strong></p><p><strong>Just in case you were wondering what i´ve been up to. I co-produced, performed on, and mixed and mastered a CD that reached #23 on the European World Music Charts called "Talking Africa". </strong></p><p><strong>I´m currently in the Beyonce "End Of Time" remix contest, and could win $4,000 and get my track on her new album. But I need lots of votes to get into the Top 50 to even be considered. </strong></p><p><strong>Anyway, it´s a pretty good remix. <p>i wnat you to hear this ................i went and bought me a synthesizer and hooke it up to my intremetn difital interface.......(where you can do 3 fantastic edits:take a note out of a song in your recording........change the timbre of your recording and change the pressure of which you hit the note) my synth has a knob that i can c;ut the flow off and on</p><p><a href="http://www.mixposure.com/index.php?t=mixposure_song_player&song_id=27894&band_id=2035"><span style="font-size: large;">Brokken Wheels</span></a></p>

He was 64.</p><p style="font-size: 14px;">Douglas says Montrose had been in declining health for some time battling prostate cancer and what Douglas termed "personal demons."</p><p style="font-size: 14px;">Besides forming his own band in 1973, Montrose also performed with a number of rockers, including Sammy Hagar, <a class="r_lapi" href="http://www.foxnews.com/topics/entertainment/music/herbie-hancock.htm#r_src=ramp">Herbie Hancock</a>, <a class="r_lapi" href="http://www.foxnews.com/topics/entertainment/music/van-morrison.htm#r_src=ramp">Van Morrison</a>, <a class="r_lapi" href="http://www.foxnews.com/topics/entertainment/music/boz-scaggs.htm#r_src=ramp">Boz Scaggs</a> and the Edgar Winter Group. Douglas says Montrose was working on releasing a DVD and starting a tour that would have taken him all across the U.S.</p><p style="font-size: 14px;">Montrose is survived by his wife, Leighsa, as well as a son, a daughter and five grandchildren.</p><p> </p>
