I just wanted to let everyone know that we added an embedded song player for single songs also. My apologies since I thought we already had this.

If you go to you Music Page and click the button under Review and Info, you will see an Embed Button. If you click that, there is now a cut and paste text box at the bottom. If you want to add a single song into a blog on Mixposure, just copy the text and once you create the blog, click the HTML button on the small menu above the text input area. This will bring up a popup box where you can paste the code embed code in. Then just click update and you will see a yellow box in the text area where the flash player will appear. Then just click Create Entry and you are all set.

We also added a Facebook Button at the top of the embed popup box. There is already a single song Facebook Player setup once you click the Review/Info Button but we thought we should have one in here also.

Thanks for being a part of Mixposure!

Dazed

Embalmed will be recording with the talented Jim Osieja
on April 17th at the Krawl Space. Jim is a guest vocalist on Dumb Love Limp, a
song written by Jason and Lyrics by Jim. This song has a definite Amnesty Box
feel (probably because Jim is the front man of Amnesty Box). If you haven't
heard Amnesty Box yet give them a listen, you can thank me later for turning
you on to them. The song already has a first draft but we will be doing vocal
retakes and Ed will be adding more of his signature sound. This song
distinguishes itself from the rest of the CD as Jim has a style all his own,
we'll call it the Osieja effect. It is in your face all out high octane Hard
Rock/Metal. Can't wait to capture some vocal lightning this Sunday.

Hello

Ive just completed the final touches to "Eternal Desire" Ft "Essence" This mix is with a new set of verse drums. The original mix i will upload soon.. it has a different drum track..

Essence said to me that this song reminds her of the ocean.. its the way it sways, i have to agree. Delicate pads, cool bass, seductive drums and those subtle synths that make this track a cool easy listening, laid back track. Add to this Essence and her live vocal tones, seductive and melodic layers and we have a track that im happy to share with the people at Mixposure....

Hope you enjoy this track from us both?.

Dave

Eternal Desire (Ft Essence)

Invisible Argyle Sweater is a project I started in 2006. The original concept was acoustic rock with a downtempo melancholy flavor. An early version of the song Seasons Of Misery was the first recorded track. I abandoned the project in 2008 when I started my alternative rock band Rebel Skum and started again after a hiatus from that band in 2009. The new style would be based mainly upon tracks programmed on virtual instrument software, mixing surreal ambient synth tones and odd electronic sounds with acoustic and electric guitars over beats that vary in influence from 8-bit video game music, hip hop beats, often with strange time signatures or arrangements. Some of the songs delve into sort a controlled chaos, artfully controlled confusion or something of the sort. I'm already involved in several other music projects, so with this one I decided to throw out all convention and do whatever I want. In 2009 I recorded a 3 song joke ep called The Beatle Years. The tracks are all instrumental, my earliest attemps at music programmed entirely on my computer. In late 2010 I finished producing Cyan Essence, my first full length album. This includes a revamped version of my original song Seasons Of Misery, which is featured on my profile. I'm currently producing another EP called Nothing Ventured No One Blamed, with remixes of the first and last tracks on Cyan Essence along with a few fresh tracks with the same vibe. I'm also working on my second album, Tidalwaveforms, which I hope to have finished by summer. I hope you enjoy the songs, write me or comment me and let me know what you think.

--Ty Wulf

I just got back from the Frankfurt Musik Messe in Frankfurt, and it was great. Personally, it was a big success, and a lot of fun. I was invited to dinner by Zildjian, (one of my endorsers) and have 2 pending endorsement deals, one with DW drums, and one with Pearl drums. I love both, so I´ll be happy to endorse either one. I played on both the DW, and Pearl stands for 1000´s of people. I also met, and partied with my friend TM Stevens, who was there playing on the Warwick stage. I also met John JR Robinson at the hotel bar, and watched him perform on the last day with Leland Sklar on bass, and two older, but hot guitarists. I saw some killer guitar players playing for Hughes & Kettner. Amazing. But Warwick had the best and Funkiest stage ever with people like Bootsy Collins, Larry Graham, TM Stevens, Norwood Fisher, Jonas Hellborg, Leland Sklar, Devinity, and a bunch of others. They were also joined on stage by Dewayne McKnight, the guitarist from George Clinton. It was great. I´ll post some photos. The videos I did with my digital camera look good, but sound like crap. But for all you bass players, checkout this 2 Part video. It´s great. Oh, I looked for Stratage Guitars, but couldn´t find them, or I would have stopped by and said hello. It was impossible to see everything, and do business deals. It was just too BIG. Had a lotta fun though.

Enjoy.

DICARLO
