Their latest single, Nag Nag Nag, perfectly encapsulates this ethos, delivering a clever, satirical take on some of the most frustrating personality traits we encounter in everyday life. 

The story behind hooyoosay is as intriguing as their music. What began as an impromptu studio session—musicians passing time while waiting for a delayed artist—quickly evolved into something far more meaningful. Those spontaneous recordings sparked the idea of an ongoing, anonymous musical project, inviting contributors from around the world to collaborate without the constraints of identity or expectation. Starting as the bass player that was good for a couple of lead vocals a set to give the singer a rest, Scott Parker (aka MidLyfe's Crisis) set about to create original songs and vibe from his studio in Middletown,, MD, USA. Having learned the drums on the kit left in the garage for years of band practice, Scott decided to learn to play some guitar, too, in order to bring his songs to life. This morphed into a bucket list item to write, produce, record, and mix a collection of songs about life. Now it is a full blown MidLyfe's Crisis...

We have been listening to Mick's music for quite some time, and it's excellent! Here's what's on his bio:

I have been involved in electronic music since the 1990's. Graduating from Amigas using OctaMed through to the brilliant Music X. Moved to the PC  and immediately got grabbed by the Yamaha XG format. I released music under the name of Xscape(UK) then. I also wrote sysex help stuff for the XG format at the time. Drifted away from XG and moved into VST tech using Sonar and later Reaper. I had a gap of a few years due to personal reasons but have now returned using the brilliant Bitwig Studio, both sequenced and with (some) live input. I still have an XG machine that also contributes stuff at times.

I hope you enjoy the music both old and new. Anything that mentions Xscape(UK) is me of old, VanDav0r is the new.

"Maxmilian is an independent singer-songwriter from Wisconsin, who is now living in Brazil. He is an accomplished composer and musician with many cool tracks to his credit. He is also a strong supporter of Indie artists and the radio stations that share that choice of music. Max devotes time every day to showing his support to the aforementioned by posting and sharing numerous lists of artists and radio shows. If ever a musician deserves to have his support returned, it is this cool dude. Artist of the month is well deserved."
