<p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: medium;">I just wanted to take a few minutes here and apologize to everyone since I have not been around as much as I wanted to be in the last month. After two years of searching WildCherry and I finally found a house we wanted and closed on it last week. We are having some upgrades made on it this weekend and plan on moving in on Monday. As you can imaging the last month has been pretty busy. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: medium;">I am hoping we get, dare I say it?, Comcast installed on Monday so we have internet access immediately. I have been using Qwest aka CenturyTel's DSL and I have never been happy with it so it is time to try something new. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: medium;">It looks like my studio will be in the basement which in all honesty is not necessarily a bad thing. The man cave is sort of finished but really needs an overhaul. Maybe in a few years after I have two nickels to rub together <img title="Laughing" src="http://www.mixposure.com/include/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-laughing.gif" alt="Laughing" border="0" />. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: medium;">Again my apologies for not updating things as fast as they should be ie. Artist/Song of the Week, Newsletters etc. It looks like I will be doing some music again in the not so distant future. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: medium;">Thanks,</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: medium;">Todd</span></p><p> </p><p> </p>
<p>A big congrats to The London Project for being Mixposure's Artist of thr Month! Lonnie has been on Mix for many years and it was obviously a logical choice with the music they put out!</p><p> </p><p><object width="295" height="325" classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><param name="flashVars" value="radio_id=&song_id=all&band_id=47&autoplay=false&skin_color=0x000000&jamroom_url=http://www.mixposure.com&cluster_url=http://www2.mixposure.com&remoteSwf=http://www.mixposure.com/modules/n8FlashPlayer/players/j3Xap.swf&remoteWidth=400&remoteHeight=325&system_name=Mixposure.com"></param><param name="src" value="http://www.mixposure.com/modules/n8FlashPlayer/players/j3Xap.swf"></param><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><param name="pluginspage" value="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"></param><param name="quality" value="high"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><param name="flashvars" value="system_name=Mixposure.com&radio_id=&song_id=all&band_id=47&autoplay=false&skin_color=0x000000&cluster_url=http://www2.mixposure.com&jamroom_url=http://www.mixposure.com&remoteSwf=http://www.mixposure.com/modules/n8FlashPlayer/players/j3Xap.swf&remoteWidth=400&remoteHeight=325"></param><embed width="295" height="325" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://www.mixposure.com/modules/n8FlashPlayer/players/j3Xap.swf" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="always" flashvars="radio_id=&song_id=all&band_id=47&autoplay=false&skin_color=0x000000&jamroom_url=http://www.mixposure.com&cluster_url=http://www2.mixposure.com&remoteSwf=http://www.mixposure.com/modules/n8FlashPlayer/players/j3Xap.swf&remoteWidth=400&remoteHeight=325&system_name=Mixposure.com" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="always" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" quality="high" wmode="transparent" flashvars="system_name=Mixposure.com&radio_id=&song_id=all&band_id=47&autoplay=false&skin_color=0x000000&cluster_url=http://www2.mixposure.com&jamroom_url=http://www.mixposure.com&remoteSwf=http://www.mixposure.com/modules/n8FlashPlayer/players/j3Xap.swf&remoteWidth=400&remoteHeight=325"></embed> </object></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Bio:</p><p>The London Project is a progressive/classic rock band from Vancouver Canada that is determined to bring back the classic rock sounds of the 70's and 80's with a full and modern sound, and yes, rippin' guitar solos. <p>I updated "Fire And Gasoline" to address some clipping issues. I believe it to be better. Please check it out if you get a chance.</p>
<p>sorry about what might seem a pointless post to the majority of guitar gurus and vocal peeps out there but ive just taken my next steps of music production to a new level ..:D i loaded up ableton live 8 and dropped in a breakbeat ,,i then dropped in fl studio 10 as a vsti into the next channel ...i then loaded up in fl studio an old tune i wrote then hit play on my apc controller for ableton and sod me if the 2 daws tempo locked and played the breakbeat over the tune in fl studio in sync ..im so buzzed out by this as it now means i can transfer my old tunes part by part into ableton save them out as a playlist then remix them either in the session view as a live improv mix or in the arrangement view as a remix ...i can also if i want record extra parts into the existing tune to beef it up ..ive got so many new ideas now on how to manipulate the two daws to my way of thinking and to redo tunes make new tunes ..remix two tunes on the fly whilst playing a 3rd through fl studio ...omg i think my brains melting lmao ...oh yes theres some good times ahead folks ...good times !!! :D</p>

What an amazing night! To have Carl on Mixstream Radio playing live music was nothing short of awesome. I have never been so happy to be a part of this site!</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: trebuchet ms,geneva; font-size: small;">Ked did a remarkable job interviewing Carl not to mention playing on a few tunes. It was a joy to listen to the music. The one thing I have always said is that if you want to find talent, listen to musicians playing live acoustic. There is nothing to hide behind. The music is in its cleanest and rawest (is that a word?) form. Carl shined in this department! Talk about sounding good lol!! </span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: trebuchet ms,geneva; font-size: small;">Ked recorded the show and we will be have the rebroadcast shortly.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: trebuchet ms,geneva; font-size: small;">Thanks to Carl, Ked and everyone in chat and everyone who tuned in to listen!</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"> </p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: trebuchet ms,geneva; font-size: small;">Todd</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"> </p><p style="text-align: justify;"> </p><p style="text-align: justify;"> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>

<p>As another Hurricane with one of the most stupid names given to it possible batters the coast of America, remember this - The world is watching, caring, and hoping that this time under the thumb of Sandy does not cause harm to anyone in its path.<br /><br />Remember, Be safe, be happy, and in the words of those now annoying fish wall brackets u can buy, dont worry about a ting, cus every little ting is gonna be all right.<br /><br /><br />Share the love, share the hope, take care, and we will see you all fit and well after this terrible natural thing that they have as said above stupidly named. At least they didnt call it Barbie. Then again, who wants a giant plastic doll attacking them?<br /><br /><br />Take care, my heart goes out to you all in the affected areas, and soon to be affected areas.<br /><br />==Jez==</p>
<p>Uploaded a new song called "Fire And Gasoline". Please check it out if you get a chance.</p>
<p>With the publication of their new title DER GLAUBE, the song writers from Middle Franconia want to reach a large audience specifically via radio. According to their own opinion, the result has the potential to turn out as their first hit and enable the band's musical and commercial breakthrough. In spite of several requests, the band has not yet committed itself to label.</p>
