<p>Hey everyone! First I want to thank you for your patience with the new Mixposure. Even when we moved to the last skin, we had bugs and hate mail. I get it! We are working very hard on the site to get it to where we think it should be and trust me, we have high standards.</p><p>Our goal is to bring in the new features as well as some old features. We will also be changing a lot of things that we think could be done better.</p><p>We have a developer wjo designed the skin and I think he did a great job. The problem is this site is pretty large and once we implemented, with the amount of data we had, we had some unforseen issues. We are in the process of getting those cleaned up.</p><p>We have made a ton of changes tonight that should be visible and a lot more in the works. On your artist page you will now have a Bio tab. I think that was important to be a bit more prominent on your page. Rob Perez agrees hehe! Also on the songs tab, when you click on a song from the bottom, you will see a download button and a Song Details Button. It should look familiar hehe. There is also a FB Share button on the embed button to load the individual song to facebook.</p><p>So thanks again for being a part of Mixposure. <p>Well as you can see, we are back to where we started. After playing with the new layout for the last 3 weeks I have come to a couple of conclusions.</p><p>1. The current layout basically works! Maybe I am just tired of seeing it after 4 years of the same view/colors etc. It runs fast and let's face it, we all know where evrything is at. Gradual changes here are easier than multiple changes over night.</p><p>2. The new layout has more bells and whistles and truthfully was coming along nicely. The real fact of the matter is that it ran slower and had many defects which required developer intervention. The developer did a great job but the software corrections were not coming as quick as I would like. That put Mixposure in a bad position asking our members to deal with substandard surroundings.</p><p>For now I am going to keep it as is. Maybe a better idea would be to incorporate some of the new with the old vs the other way around. I would however like to change the colors of the main site. Since the artist pages are highly customizable, there is no reason to change those. I liked the Blue/Black combo of the new skin to be honest. It looked amazing on my laptop and my iMac. <p>I never grow tired of listen to Nigel Potter's vocals. There is a uniqueness to them that just makes every song special. Nigel is a musicians musician with a history that is truly remarkable. Add in David C. Deal to this tune and you have nothing short of greatness. </p><p>We are making additional changes and tweaking the site here and there. You should now be able to post the players to Facebook. I am looking for a solution for posting individual songs to Facebook. Right now it is pulling all songs in which can be a pain at times.</p><p>If there is something from the old layout that is missing that you would like to see added back in, let me know. <p>Check out my new song"Life Under The Surface".</p><p>I have keep low profile a long time with my own music because i have focused pretty much doing collabs with Rayon Vert and my work as music teacher has take too much time. Now situation has changed better direction, and i have time to do my own music too. Maybe there is some old mixposure artists who remember my collab works with Rob Grant, Brian Ralston, Shane, Nigel Potter, Bri-an, Doctor C, Carol Sue and Digger Stone. Those songs and artists bring great memories to me.</p><p>I hope that you like the song and there will be more GC songs coming soon.</p>
