I remember in the days of the old Mix several artists uploaded compositions based on bolero and named after themselves. I always wanted to do the same, and finally, here it is. Of course it's not a real Spanish bolero because it's not in a triple time. But it's definitely closer to bolero than, say, to a square dance. So Bolero it is! <br /><br />Special thanks to Gary Carciello.<br /><br />Please enjoy!<br /><br />Doctor C
Just take a pice of time and enjoy <img src="images/smilies/face-glasses.png" border="0" alt="glasses" title="glasses" />.
AS TIME PASSES BY
AS TIME PASSES BY, I SIT HERE WONDERING HOW YOU ARE
AM ALWAYS LOOKING FOR THAT DISTANT STAR
I WONDER IF YOU EVER THINK OF ME
OR PASS ALONG TO SEE THE CARVING IN THE TREE
STILL A MEMORY IN MY MIND
I'VE NEVER KNOWN ANYONE QUITE SO KIND
DO YOU EVER WALK ACROSS THAT BRIDGE OF DREAMS
DID YOU EVER REALISE HOW MUCH THAT MEANS
WHEN YOU ARE LOOKING ACROSS THE OCEAN
DO YOU MISS ANY OF OUR EMOTION
THINKING OF YOU WALKING DOWN TO THE BROOK
THE SWEET THOUGHTS OF ME YOU ALWAYS TOOK
YOU WROTE ME LOVELY POEMS AND A BEAUTIFUL SONG
SOME HOW I NEVER THOUGHT THAT WE COULD GO WRONG
AS TIME PASSES BY, I SIT AND WONDER WHY
HOW THE LOVE WE SHARED, COULD JUST FADE AND DIE
WHERE DID YOU AND I GO WRONG
THE LOVE WE HAD WAS OH SO STRONG
I MISS YOU IN SUCH A WAY
BUT LIKE A SUNSET YOU'VE GONE AWAY
TAKING MY HEART WITH YOU, WHAT MORE CAN I DO
I LIE AWAKE AT NIGHT JUST THINKING ABOUT YOU
LYING AWAKE WITH A TEAR IN MY EYE
I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT YOU'VE SAID GOODBYE

Ah yes, October and days get shorter air gets colder , time to hide away in front of a computer and pen a few more tunes. <br /><br />Started on to work on finishing 3 tunes , "Enzyme", "Slow Burn Bad News" and "Head down"<br /><br />Ive asked for people to collaborate on these on a number of forums and websites and so far its seems like there is a bit of interest.<br /><br /> Im hoping to start three more through november and aim for another two over the December which would be going great guns . <br /><br />Hopefully there will be enough material to put a disc together for spring. Woot!<br /><br />Happy Hallowe'en
Well, I've finally finished the recording for my new CD and this is the last song. <br /><br />

If any sax players are interested, Selftort (Brian) and I would be delighted for you to put some of your music to Dark Eyes, just posted on my profile. We always felt that this song would need the sultry tones of a saxaphone, and would be grateful for any help! If you are interested please contact Selftort and he will send you all that you need to join in our collaboration! Many thanks, Melsi
