Just a big congrats to the TrueVulgarians for being the Mixposure.com Artist of the Month. This pair just knows how to create great music! Please check their music out and leave a review!
Bio:
The TrueVulgarians are a brother-sister duo hailing from just outside Cleveland, Ohio, having sung together for longer than they'd want to admit. Songs range from the melancholy to the ridiculous with a story-telling vibe. We're just a couple of amatuer musicians who have the need to create and perform without expectation beyond that. All our tunes are written and arranged by (brother) William Thompson, who plays acoustic guitar and does the lead vocals. (Sister) Jacki Grapentine provides back-up vocals and much needed moral support. We hope you enjoy our material as much as we have enjoyed making it available here on Mixposure for public consumption..
William Thompson (truevulgarian)
We are pleased to announce the release of our entry in the "Same Song Title Madness" project. As you know, all songs entered are entitled, "A Voice in the Distance". This is our first collaboration with master musician/keyboardist, arranger and producer, David C. Deal and we hope the first of many to come. Lyrics by William Thompson who sang lead vocal and played acoustic guitar. Music by William Thompson and David C. Deal who composed and arranged all orchestration on the song. Mixed and mastered by David C. Deal. Back-up vocals by Jacki Grapentine.

pulled out the stops and produced this little number especially for jims show as i know hes into the odd and obscure tuneage ..basically in the 70`s at the cinema they would before the main showing show adverts by pearl and dean ..the theme called asteroids would always be played and i always vowed to make a track using it as it was so iconic back then ...and to spice the track up a bit more i added some snippets from the theme from the cartoon version of spiderman as it fit really well ,,,so ya better play this one jim !!! LOLOL
Nigel Potter wrote this song and asked me to arrange and produce it some time ago. I always felt my production didn't live up to the quality of his lyrics and melody so I have re produced it. I hope you enjoy.
