I was getting tire of being a one-armed bandit !</span></strong><br /><br /><strong><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; color: #ffcc00; font-size: small;">Remember Me ( Recuerdame ) is a guitar rock instrumental track that is based on the&nbsp;progression by the latin love song by&nbsp;la Quinto Estacion. I played all the instruments (except drums) love and layed out the music beds and changed the progression and tempo a bit to make it interesting. A real&nbsp;heart-wrenching&nbsp;tune in the key of E Minor Mixolydian and Penatonic. Features, some electric guitar, acoustic flamenco, piano and strings.</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; color: #ffcc00; font-size: small;">I am trying to get back up to speed with playing, picking and bending again without making funny painul faces. This was great&nbsp;therapy to get the arm back into shape. It's not perfect, and I think I still need to practice the sqeaky arm. But I'm&nbsp;SO glad to be back making music again ! <p>Black Ether is celebrating its 10th anniversary year in 2011. Formed on April 22, 2001, we have released almost 200 original&nbsp;tracks on the net since that time, including 4 albums, one of which is double length.</p><p>To celebrate our longevity and the support shown to us over the years, we have been busy selecting the best 50 songs weve producedand uploading them here to Mixposure, 2 at a time, generally daily. When all 50 are uploaded, we will make ALL of them available for free download for the remainder of the year for anyone who wants them , including any that have been commercially released. <p>Embalmed hit a vocal recording session today for a collaborative song with Bill "Angst" Gurgol. Ed added his vocals so the song is just about finished. First rough mix completed and being evaluated. Working title of the song is "Pray for the Dead" music by Jason and lyrics by Angst.&nbsp;It is a&nbsp;departure from the regular sound as we give the guest artist freedom to develop the song. Very heavy and Angst really put his signature on it. Some nice heavy groove sections. Ed's vocals added a little of the old style Embalmed flavor to bring it around. This song is being done like no other song on the CD. We recorded the music locally in Buffalo over several weeks and mixed it over several more weeks. Next we sent it via email to Angst in California and he wrote and added vocals and backups and sent it back via email. Jason and Aaron then added leads and it was again remixed.&nbsp;Today Ed added his vocals and it will be mixed several more times and then sent to Angst one last time for a final mix of his vocals. Sounds pretty tasty so far, can't wait for the finished version. We'll keep you posted.</p>
