Spinning Round

<p><span style="font-size: small;">( THE JMZ BAND - Jackson, Mercer, and Zakel.....plus&nbsp;friends) </span></p><p><span style="font-size: small;">Ho</span><span style="font-size: small;">ly crap! It just hit me that&nbsp;Spinning Round&nbsp;was written and recorded over 12 years ago....when I was in my 40's something...chit man time does fly when you're having fun! This was our most requested original song off the list&nbsp;and our fans actually spun around on the dance floor as they sang along during the chorus, LOL! Those were the days my friend.......</span></p><p><span style="font-size: small;"><a href="http://www2.mixposure.com/index.php?t=mixposure_song_player&amp;song_id=18762&amp;band_id=991">http://www2.mixposure.com/index.php?t=mixposure_song_player&amp;song_id=18762&amp;band_id=991</a></span></p><p><span style="font-size: small;">Farrell Jackson - Acoustic guitar, vocals, mixing,&nbsp;production, and songwriter.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: small;">Dave Mercer - Bass and backing vocal.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: small;">Steve Zakel - Electric guitar and backing vocal.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: small;">Kurt Huhn - Drums.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: small;">Alex Jiminez - Congas and timbales.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: small;">The lyric is about getting caught in a downward spiriling relationship and not knowing how to get out of the loop.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: small;">Enjoy!</span></p><p><span style="font-size: small;">Farrell Jackson</span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: arial black, avant garde; color: #33cccc; font-size: large;">creativity is not the abillity to make something new</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial black, avant garde; color: #33cccc; font-size: large;">rather to take what you "KNEW" and mold it into your own world</span></p>

guitar lesson

By jvtuttle, 2010-09-19

<p><span style="font-family: book antiqua, palatino; color: #ffcc99;">melody</span></p><p><span style="font-family: book antiqua, palatino; color: #ffcc99;">melody are the notes that correspond to a beat.........look at it this way and you will "PLAY" ups and downs according to how close to the beat the note hits</span></p><p><span style="font-family: book antiqua, palatino; color: #ffcc99;">emphasis.......</span></p><p><span style="font-family: book antiqua, palatino; color: #ffcc99;">emphasis falls on some regions af a melody......when youi think about it a melody makes the beat change according to where the note falls next to the beat.......this is emphasis...as you rise and fall with the beat you will aquire a pattern...........emphasis also is a crescendo that you choose to express great joy or a conclusion</span></p><p><span style="font-family: book antiqua, palatino; color: #ffcc99;">where it blows.......how it ends.......that it changes to the beat........all determine if the song goes.if the song goes beyond the beat (if the song goes over)</span></p><p><span style="font-family: book antiqua, palatino; color: #ffcc99;">composing &amp; arranging</span></p><p><span style="font-family: book antiqua, palatino; color: #ffcc99;">if it goes beyond the beat thens your chance to arrange the song...you have 2 like but different parts.....compose the song first (what i've been teaching you about melody)</span></p><p><span style="color: #ffcc99;"><span style="font-family: book antiqua,palatino;">rhythm.......how the song flows.........where it goes(remember)........repeats can be used as emphasis in a song it takes the beat beyond to give the song rhythm</span>.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: book antiqua, palatino; color: #ffcc99;">crescendo &amp; conclusion are one and the same?</span></p>
