Before I announce the next guest on Center Stage here on Mix Radio, please note that there will be an "Impromptu show" tonight on Mix Radio... Mike-K delves into the archives and plays some cool tunes, saving all the new ones for "Saturday Night Rocks"! The show will start around 7 pm USA Eastern Standard Time! A Rudderless Ship

One moment your biggest concern is getting your son off to school on time.  The next moment, you are making life and death decisions for your parents.  Life comes at you from all directions.  It comes hard, and it doesn't quit.  You either keep fighting back, or you quit.
 
I've been fighting back harder than ever since November 14, 2008 when my dad passed away.  There is no way to fill the void, no way to keep the dream alive.  The lines of clamoring creditors with their mountains of paperwork demand immediate attention.  I have given them what I can, and I have no more to give.
 
Time and again, I try to return to the music sites, try to post new songs, and try to review the work of my friends - but I lose my way.  I am a rudderless ship with tattered sails.  I made good time while I was whole, but I didn't really get anywhere.  Now, I am adrift in a strange sea, and I've lost my compass too.  The clouds hang heavy day and night, leaving no sun or stars to guide me.  There are small leaks from stern to bow with no shoreline in sight.  I have no choice but to keep on keeping on, sailing and bailing toward some dark destination.  Some folks call it "Home."

Song Uploads & Reviews

We know the first thing everyone wants to do when they come to Mixposure is upload all of their music. While this sounds great in theory, we would prefer that you upload just a few songs a day. The reason is simple. If your goal is to get reviews, you will get more reviews by not posting all of your music in one shot. It has been proven time and time again. How do you get more reviews? By reviewing other artists! It really is a simple concept <img src="http://www.mixposure.com/include/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-wink.gif" border="0" alt="Wink" title="Wink" />. Hi Arthur,Its been a terrible time here in Australia over the past few days. We need heaps of healing help for thousands of displaced people and lost souls. So much devastation and so much pain and suffering. Balanced with great courage and kindness and humanity. I am made humble by the selflessness of so many military, fire fighters police and ambulance personnel and countless others who have pitch in to bring this situation under control. I am not physically fit enough to go help so I have decided to send out all over the web bulletins that raise folks awareness. Here is the letter I am attempting to circulate, could you help with your network? Healing energy is SO needed....many are close to collapse here....emotionally and physically. Can you help, even by just passing on the link to the video? I know I am not a regular visitor here, but I also know that good people gather on this site. I thank you in advance for any help you may be able to offer......if all you can do is send up a prayer or good thought for the folks in Victoria then that will be fantastic and very needed as well.
