Anyone familiar with Graham Harper’s music is well aware of his ability to captivate a crowd.  The young singer/songwriter is exciting audiences in his newly adopted hometown of Los Angeles, where he moved in 2011 after garnering significant interest in his music within the L.A. entertainment scene. His warm and endearing stage presence have effectively launched him into the musical realm, but his songs are what send him soaring over the edge.  Graham Harper’s energetic pop rock music; characterized by charming, yet powerful vocals, lyrical guitar work, and thoughtful, honest lyrics, has earned him recognition as a respectable musician throughout the industry in Southern California and beyond.<a href="http://grahamharpermusic.files.wordpress.com/2012/04/dsc_0007.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-100 alignright" title="DSC_0007" src="http://grahamharpermusic.files.wordpress.com/2012/04/dsc_0007.jpg?w=300&h=201" alt="" width="300" height="201" /></a>Growing up in San Francisco, Graham was always interested in music, having been involved in choirs, musical theater and various bands throughout his life. The Return of Mike-K

As many of you know, Mike Kohlgraf has been on an extended leave from Mix Radio due to some health issues. Mike is planning on coming back on the air Saturday September 1st from 10PM EST until at least Midnight. Mike has a tendency to want to go longer but my hope is he limits his shows. It is an absolute honor having Mike back on the air. Kooder will be on before Mike and will continue doing the Mix Files which I personally have thoroughly enjoyed!  We have a great bunch of DJ's on Mixposure and I can't thank each of them enough. They dedicate countless hours to bring the best indie artists to the internet. "Even When I lose"   The economic crisis in Greece has proved to be a source of inspiration for some upcoming Greek artists. Determined and passionate singer/songwriter Ilia Darlin from Piraeus, an urban area of Athens stands among them. Ilia's upheaval in the music scene has cast a new light on southern Europe as a breeding ground of pop music enthusiasts. Having travelled all over the world seeking references and inspiration, Ilia decided to drop anchor in London for a few years, where she worked with a number of writers and producers and refined her performance skills. Though her attachment towards her roots and origins eventually eclipsed, it dawned on her that she felt a need to tell a story through the filter of her native land, indubitably less idyllic yet sentimentally authentic and powerfully evocative.  Her first music video under EMI "Hit me", recorded in New York with producer Billy Mann is a powerful flow of images drawing on the Mediterranean subculture, with its bad teenage bikers, gaudy cemeteries and sex hotels. The title alone, one might assume, conveys a sharp message that strives to veer off from fixed aesthetics and contemporary musical frameworks, hailing from Greece to the rest of the world.  Her second single "Even when I lose" is set to be released in conjunction with the Greek elections in June 2012.
