Hello:

Thanks for visiting my page and maybe even having a listen. I hope you hear something you like but if not try another artist's site. It won't take many clicks for you to hear something great. Music is one of the blessings of mankind and I try to appreciate all types but rock is my first love. From the time I first heard an electric guitar it was my favorite instrument.

Guitaristworks is an example of the amazing things the Internet has brought us and in my opinion the best independent music site on the web. The ability to share the music across the globe still boggles my mind, and I never imagined the likes of me would be able to exchange ideas with the caliber of artists and good people found on GW.

Everyone Take Care,

Chuck (Strum) Lafferty

No new music to post yet. But since Dazed has expanded how many songs we can have posted I've been re-posting some of the tunes you've already heard on my page. I have all of what is on my "CD" posted now. Since I still have some room I'm thinking I will post some of the tunes that received the most positive feedback... until I have something new to put up.
Collabs are still in the works. I have some ideas that need flashing out. I have some that are coming together pretty easily, and others that will require some more work.
Thanks for stopping by and reading this. Now go listen!! Oh! Leave feedback too!
Guys if you are reading this we should be on our new server now! I am running some tests but so far so good .
After trying to resolve an issue with our previous host I just gave up. There was just not a sense of urgency to resolve the problem and they quick to pawn it off as a software issue or a database issue.
Our apologies for the downtime. However our new provider is familiar with our software so that will make any issues we see down the road easier to resolve.
Thanks for your patience!

Our apologies to everyone for the site being down. We are still trying to figure out what is going on and there more be some down time along the way. Be assured though, we are working hard to get everything back to normal .

Well my daughter is going to Basketball Camp at UNC-CH today and my wife is going out of town. That means, I can finish 2 projects today in peace, uninterrupted. Yeaaaaaaa!!!!!! I am so looking forward to my August performance at Acoustic Jam so I can unveil this new song I've been working on. I believe this will be the year that I make a mark on the music world that will appear "bigger than a smudge"
This place, The Randy Parton Theatre is gonna' help me make an indeliable mark regionally as an artist. (Whether Randy wants that to happen or not)

;( Should I go to Charlotte or should I just let it go? Why is "she" responding to me this way? A song please.............. 8)
G'day, Milo here.
for those that dont know I just thought I'd let you all know I'm back, well almost..
staying at my dads for a little while.
for those that didn't know
I'm finally back home after my operation in hospital in Sydney (Australia), and I wish to thank every one who looked after me while I was there...
When I saw Dr Spencer (a neuro specialist ) in Sydney he took me straight to the hospital and after an MRI scan found I had 2 slipped discs pinching the nerves on the spinalcord, which was causing my arthritis and loss of mobility. Which stopped me playing my guitar and doing normal things around the house that you do every day.
They said If I didn't have the op I could have been in a wheel chair for the rest of my life, which would'nt have been any good for me or my family. especially so soon after mum who passed away last year in november (2006) from Dementia and Alzimers (spell).
So its been a pretty rought 7 or so months or me. A lot of my songs up untill christmas were pretty much strange, and it kinda reflected my mood I guess at that time. Now I've had the operation and at my dads recovering,
I'm slowely getting back to playing again and hopefully when back home should be able to write some new songs.
One thing I've learned is never take anything for granted,
so thats it for now..thanks for reading.
So I am now on the road to recovery and hope to be able to play my guitar again soon...

And she said:
.............."why didn't you try to comeback to get me back? Had you really loved me you would have" Yet you were the one who walked away from me
........."You were the best boyfriend, then and now that I've ever had" But was that enough?
"Oh why oh why must my life be this way? Why didn't you tell me so long ago-we be together today.
And I know now that we never had to end
I knew I'd never see you again........" ;(

Well, what's shakin'? If you look around, you'll see I've been doing a little work around here. Got some more tunes up, more pics-realizing that you guys love Windoze XP and Vista around here more than anything in the world. Did I say that I am a "Mac" user? :D This place gave my other Mac, a 1999 vintage PM6500/350 w/System 9.1 a downright nervous breakdown.
Tommorrow will find me making some introductions in the forum area, reading a bit, etc. I'm kinda' on a summer break so I have a little extra daytime to get more familiar with the digs. Thanks to everyone who has visted and listened at my tunes so far. Good to see you Reaper SQ. We meet again. 8)
Remind me to tell you about my "X" and the song "Twenty Years". She finally listened to it for the first time and it really stirred up some memories - right now I'm feeling like Tom Hanks in "Castaway" or Keanu Reaves and Sandra Bullock in "The Lake House". Deja Vu and new realizations from my past. Hmmmm......sounds like a new song ;(
