Music became an inseparable part of our lives. We listen to it on our way to work, it helps us focus, calm down, and relax, but it also is a great source of entertainment. On-demand music streaming services have taken the world by storm and revolutionized the way we listen to music. Thanks to streaming platforms and mobile applications we can play our favourite albums on the go and discover new artists whenever we want and wherever we are. The choice of music streaming sites is immense, so today we bring you a selection of the best streaming services available on the market. Read on to find out what they are.
Spotify
Although it does not have the biggest catalogue of music, Spotify seems to be a leader in the world of music streaming services and a top contender to the title of the most user-friendly music streaming site out there, as it comes with an innovative feature which enables the users to listen to music offline through Spotify mobile apps. Spotify is available through all major platforms such as Windows, Blackberry, iOS and Android. The service is free, but subscription is required. You can purchase a premium package which removes adds and grants access to higher-quality audios or sign up for $1 trial period.
Pandora
Pandora is a unique blend of music streaming site and recommendation service. It matches your music preferences with audio files available in the database using effective algorithms. Pandora is only available in the U.S., Australia and New Zealand, however, you can go around these limitations by using a virtual private network to access all functionalities of this platform wherever you are. Using VPN is also good for additional protection, especially if you access music streaming platforms via unprotected, public WiFi. Check out VPN reviews on Secure Thoughts and enjoy safe streaming from any location.
Deezer
Boasting an impressive number of over 40 million songs, Deezer is one of the oldest on-demand music services. It was developed in 2007 in France and since then has gained millions of subscribers worldwide. As of 2013 Deezer had over 16 million unique monthly active users and 5 million paid subscribers. Unlimited access is available for free for the first month and after that period streaming is restricted to two hours a day. Of course you can remove all restrictions for a small fee.
iHeartRadio
Although iHeartRadio is commonly categorised as an Internet radio platform, it definitely is so much more than that. It actually is an all-encompassing music recommendation service, radio stations network and advanced streaming site which lets you access live radio talk shows and podcasts. Through iHeartRadio you can create your own custom-made radio stations featuring music selected from millions of songs available through the platform.
The Sixty One
Taking its name from the legendary Route 61 , T61 is favourite music streaming site of artists and alternative music lovers due to its democratic take on music rankings. On The Sixty One the fans decide what's hot and what's not , as the service features a voting system designed to promote the tracks upvoted by the fans. Through the site you can communicate with other listeners, artists, and discover rising stars of your favourite music genre, let it be blues, R&B, rock, experimental or alternative music.
Since the beginning of 21 st century we see a revolution in the music industry directed towards more accessible music resources online. Multiple services were developed, but not all of them stood the test of time. These top 5 music streaming sites, however, are standing strong and provide excellent service to millions of music fans worldwide. Do not hesitate to give them a try!

Hey everyone! Long time no see / hear!
I really miss being in the chat, but time just does not allow it these days.
However, we are really excited to announce our new single: THIS IS WHAT WE DO .
This song was inspired by my son Robin while he had to go through radiation treatment last year in Florida [he was 8 back then]. It is a song about special people in our lives - some call them angels.
Anyway, as always we hope you'll enjoy our new tune.
Leona, David, Leon & Heinz.
Halloween is approaching fast. How is everyone doing on their tunes? Mixposure's Annual Halloween Song Submissions is upon!
If you have not done a Halloween Tune before with Mixposure, here is how it works. Just create you best spooky/scariest song. It can have vocals or not and you can use any genre you like It is entirely up to you. When you post your song, please use a genre of Halloween 2016 so we can track them and post audio players with all of the songs. Around Halloween, we will play all the songs on a radio broadcast.
Good luck!!
Hi all!
So, I first want to say a HUGE thanks to each and every one of you who have supported my return to Mixposure. For those of you who may not know, I used to be active here under my old stage name, Al Chantrey. I now credit myself under my real name, Al Williams.
I had to take some time out for a multitude of reasons, but I am now writing and recording again with my wife, JJ, and we have formed a singer-songwriter duo, Little Fable.
We have been writing and recording together for the past two years; blood, sweat, tears... our souls--it has been a magical and fantastical journey, and our new album is complete and contains pieces of everything that makes us who we are. This album is very much US, and very much everything we have always worked hard to be. We have decided against over-produced material and just gone with the live-and-raw feel, with some additional instrumentation where we felt necessary, and we are very proud of what we have achieved. It is our pleasure to share our child here with you.
We both thank you from our hearts for your support--it means more than you know.
Special thanks, also, to Toni (Barefoot) for spinning our tracks and believing in us.
Our album is available here, of course, but you can also get it via our site and Bandcamp:

Thanks again, guys, and enjoy!
