Born in a small timber town on the Oregon Coast, Bobby's passion for music began at Christmas at age 10 with his first guitar. Many bands and guitars later, he connected with his treasured 1968 Les Paul in 1970.  Now, Bessie Mae (named by Little Milton's long-time road mgr, Scrap Iron, while on the Blues Cruise Oct 2010) has been his constant companion for 4 decades, bearing witness to this passion which has taken him across the USA sharing his gift.

His friends and fans know the intensity and love of music that he exudes while performing, which can be truly justified watching a live show. His songwriting has exploded recently, with 4 cd's released since 2010, 3 of which are all original songs, some of his best work yet, and one a cover of his old blues favorites with some amazing musicians backing him up. A solo acoustic cd is in the near future in 2013, unearthing all new material.

Recently returning from two Legendary Rhythm/Blues Cruises with a shipload of raw positive energy, new songs, friends, fans, and an undeniable sense of purpose, Bobby's long road to success has been well worth the journey. A new home in Central Oregon, the opportunity to play with some of the best musicians this side of the Mississippi - the same love of music and perseverance he has always embodied promises great things to come.
