I like this. very cool build. very cool using the bass for rhythm chords and letting the guitar do some saucy leads. Very Nice. Excellent Job.

Very cool jam. Loved the perfect, understated soloing and the funky kick in the rhythm. A lovely relaxed and contented, sounding piece.

Nice little Jam, good work
BraceImpact is a study in the art of improvisation. Jay and KED have been working together as bass player and guitar player for about six years.
This project was an attempt to try our hand at total improvisation and to see if we could do things in one pass. Yes it sounds like a crazy idea, but the music speaks for it self.
I will give you an example of how each tune was recorded. I would start with a basic groove from Jayman's trusty Boss JS-5 Jam Station. I would do some tweaking to give us some variations of the theme to jam on. The drums were also somewhat "played" during the intitial performance by Jayman. The bass and rythym tracks would go down together and Jay let fly with the "Jayisms" on the bass and create a very flowing bed track to work with. I then layed down a rythym track and then a lead trak over the bass and drums.. again folks this is ONE PASS!!! We were free to do as many passes as we wanted but for the most part we stuck to what made the song sound good. During the mix down stage i tried to give each recording a somewhat live feel with the use of delays and reverbs. So there you have it .. how we made this collection of fun jams and crazy tunes
Eventually once the 10th and final song is finnished we will head to the mastering console and have our album masterd by none other than Miester Gabe Sabadi... Then its on to some hand rendered inserts for the cover and liner notes... We are planning on selling each CD for 10bucks plus applicable shipping. Ten BraceImpact tunes.. 10 Bucks!!! but here is the kicker folks.. we are only gonna produce 100 copies! We have had such a great response from the folks at Mixposure so we decided to not only offer it up for sale.. here on MIX but as well we would like to borrow the chatroom and MikeK for a genuine.. BraceImpact CD release party. That is provided that Dazed is ok with this idea
Keep your seatbelts fastend folks.. the ride has JUST begun! KED
