The melody is deliciously dark but the vocals are chipper, it's an excellent contrast. Guitar progressions work so well with the percussion. Excellent song folks!! JUst heard this on Mack's Mix radio show and I'm glad I did!

This tune really KICKS well. Like the guitar progression. Fine sound. Good vocals; most expressive with the harmonies. The feamle vocal is very good; nice tone. Nice interplay of vocals. The guitar really compliments well. Like the subtle pulsating sensation. Great lyrics. Fine production.Original artistry. Well arranged. Most fine guitar work.

This one rocks in a way I like. Tons of energy, very nice mix, great dynamics. Definitely radio ready. Well done. Especially the interplay the the Sting-like guitar and drums during the vocals.

Come Home is the eldest of the three new songs. It was put together in February 2007 and is probably the most straight forward rock song we have. It hasn't changed much since it was first played in public at the Button Factory last April. The lead guitar was recorded on a Gibson SG through a Mesa stack and a Telecaster was used for the picky chords and strumming.
Thirty One was initially a very different kind of song than it has since turned out. We had the basic chords for a few months before it began to sprout arms and legs with the addition of the intro bass-line and some vocals. As a song and structure, we were happy that we'd nailed it down about two weeks prior to recording. That said, at the last rehearsal session before heading into the studio the next day, we decided to completely overhaul the verses. There were some stressful moments but we eventually wrapped up the final draft with just over a half an hour to spare.
A Blueprint was also quite a new song when recorded. Again, the basis of it had been floating around for a while. We finally got together to nail the parts and structure down. Despite the fact that we spent the vast majority of the evening grappling with to WWF sized portions of chinese food, A Blueprint was finished and ready to record. To date, it has not been played live but it's been great in rehearsals and should suit the live show very well.
The single will be released in late March on iTunes, 7Digital, Vodafone and other digital stores. There'll also be a limited edition 3-track CD version.
Many thanks to Shane Cullen at K9 Studios for his enthusiasm and patience. And to Owen Higgins for the artwork on the CD.
