I absolutely love the lyrics to this song. Unusual but pretty cool.

Hey Britt welcome to iMS
I like the tune and I think it is going in the right direction. I am not sure if this is a work in progress or a final. I like the changes you did around the 3:00 mark. I would almost bring some changes in earlier. How was this recorded?

Charming song with lovely vocal performance. The chord structure is fairly simple but you've extracted a very appealing melody from it. The guitar playing's fine but I'm not sure if it's the right style for this song. It's fairly static strumming that reinforces the simplicity of the chord progression. Personally I think the verse section would benefit from a picking style with the strummining then coming in on the chorus. That would also put more of a spotlight on the chorus. Very nice piece of work
Cheers

I agree with Dazed. It's going in the right direction, but it still needs to be more polished. Part of it is the lyrical meter in some of the lines. As I said on your other songs, I really like your vocals, but I think you need to polish up the lyrics more so they flow better with the music. Don't get me wrong, I think you're on the right track, just keep working it.

Thanks! :D
PS - Please keep in mind that all of my songs are finished, but the version posted may not be. All songs I have posted on here at the moment were rough first drafts so that I would remember the song, right after i'd finished writing it. I rarely record mp3's as I don't know how to use the recording dealybobber we have and I need to get my mom to do it for me, as well as upload it to the computer because i'm somewhat computer illeterate.
If you want to hear more "polished" finished versions, or just more of my music, then you should go to www.youtube.com/brittbonshor
Thanks to everyone for you're nice comments and for taking the time to listen to my tracks!
