I know you must have your reasons Still trying to figure you out I've spent some time with your demons And took an alternate route
Everyone here Everyone knows your name But no one's calling it out And everyone's clear Everyone feels the same About you now
You got everything you want But it's not making you happy Pretty little victim with a smoking gun Taking all you can from everyone But it's not making you happy Not making you happy Not making you happy
Nobody's pity will save you It's something that you've gotta want Motives transparent & shallow They've finally come back to haunt
And everyone here Everyone knows your name But no one is calling it out And everyone's clear Everyone feels the same About you now
You got everything you want But it's not making you happy Pretty little victim with a smoking gun Taking out your hatred on everyone But it's not making you happy Not making you happy Not making you happy
Solo
Everyone here Everyone knows your name But no one is calling it out Everyone's clear Everyone feels the same About you now
You got everything you want But it's not making you happy Pretty little victim with a smoking gun Blaming all your problems on everyone But it's not making you happy Not making you happy
Did you wanna lose yourself Did you wanna lose yourself You could if you we're stronger If you were better If you were better

Pop/bluesy feel to this one. There are a lot of people who evaluate their lives based on "Where they are" at certain points on a time line. They want what everyone else has without really asking themselves why they want that. Just following a social standard set by people who have something to gain through you buying into the "dream".
This is all well and good for some people... some people take it a step further and are not only unhappy with what they worked so hard to attain... they can't let others be happy with their own accomplishments. Fortunately I only have a handful of these people anywhere near my life and certainly don't keep them close. But it is reall

This is a good starting point, however looking at the date you posted this I was wondering if it is now a finished project. If so shame you aint posted it. Great tone and a nice riff

I love the tones you're getting from your set-up. That's a pure rock sound all the way.
I'd leave to hear a full arrangement, with drums and bass, and a wailing vocal. Oh, yeah. That would turn this into a real smoker.
Peace,
Paul

Smashin' rock performance. Lots of fuzz...lot of cool chunky chording; I agree the percussion should have come in with the bass around 12 seconds or so. Good effort on the chording solo.
Different.

Hey, there...I'm a guitar-playing wookie in Western Washington state. I've been playing guitar since the mid 80's, and am a fan of most forms of rock. I'm particularly fond of "Hard Rock", as it's shameless in how many genres it borrows from. I like electric and acoustic guitar, and have equal affection for heavy, aggressive music and moodier, mellower pieces.
