The 4th and Last single from our forthcoming EP, due for release in 2024, "Music Monster" reveals a new facet of Calamity Jay, with Rahel's voice making a foray into a more flamboyant Rock style. The backing track is still tinged with Folk guitars, but also with Blues, if only through JayC's slide guitar interventions.

As for the lyrics, which recount the experience of disillusionment often encountered in the course of a lifetime, they are not pessimistic, for the "Music Monster" watches over us, and reminds us that music is perhaps "the" most magical solution to all our ills... who knows?
