Back to Folk/Indie roots for this 5th single from Calamity Jay's forthcoming EP.

A hushed ambience of acoustic guitars and mandolin, a silky backdrop highlighting

Rahel's marvellous voice, builds in intensity throughout the track, giving way to

angelic choirs and a haughty piano for an epic finale.It is a song about freedom,

which has a price, but that is above all a source of happiness and the prerequisite for

leading a self-determined life. Sea and sky, freedom and loneliness and the

personification of the wanderer/pirate are metaphors for the decision not to submit to

society's idea of how a person should define their existence. It is a greeting to the

universe that seems to have a plan for us, an invitation to dream and a joyful hymn

to freedom that makes us reconsider the true values of our lives that inspire or

animate us.
