Have you seen the news, yesterday, it is the same as today.
The same old tawdry foundless chatter
in a world where no such thing does matter
But we carry tide of hope, in a world of seas abounding
where sorrow is the rope, around some neck the founding
I see the fearsome tides of the changing roles
we bear the final smiles of the destiny of tolls
so mercy is the greater, in the world of hidden facts
and love, the truth, is final, though read between the sheaves,
the tomes of forebears falling, like discarded autumn leaves
the wrath, the fire, the kindling of truth, so why should we obey
the maledictive callings to the woefullness of youth?
Upon the hallowed years we stand
ignoring folly, the avarice demand,
while yet we have the fortitude to say
take my child, oh dear, no way.
your lies, your stealing cheating deal
you should not wish to spin this wheel
for on this fate hangs your disaster,
for we are free, we know no master.
it seems this tale, woeful unblesssed,
but we know truthful all the rest,
the wicked lie, true loyalty the test,
the truthful will defy, the unlawful so unrest.
though would you wish for hidden magic
a fateful boundless thought of treasure
a mindless world, of destiny so tragic,
so rest your hopes on mindless pleasure.
while we the honest fools endeavour,
pursue the hearts ancient call of wisdom
ignoring the fulcrum and the lever,
would warn you all, beware forever
