FWIW -- The Bombastic Jukebox
I am a noobie, and an old one at that. I will be uploading the songe I wrote over the course of about twenty years, from 1987 to now. Nearly all of of them were performed solely by me on the legendary Korg Polysix. Soe drum machines thrown in here and there. As per the rules, I will not be posting any of the covers I have done, although I have quite a few of them. We will see.
Post your comments, as you will.
Chuck Douglas.
Just about anything would be nice compared to those originals.
Peace man,
Tsargoth
Yes, I saw that covers are discouraged. Too bad, because I have a few nice ones, compared to my originals.
You're welcome.
Thanks for the warning !
Peace,
Tsargoth
Hi, Chuck,
It's always good to welcome someone new here, and to hear where the road has taken them and where they are heading. This is also a great place to learn, and to get some fresh ideas on new ways to do certain things, as well as to try some new things out.
After hearing the overload of material you posted Tuesday night, I have to be honest and question what the intent was. I'm pretty tolerant, and have no problem reviewing a song fairly even if it's a in a genre I personally don't care for. But what you threw at us seemed to be more than a calculated attempt to totally annoy us, and that is a shame. I listened through a few of your songs, tried to find something positive in them, and couldn't.
Do what you will with your songs, but I would much rather see you take what you learned over the past 20 years and apply them to some newer material. I have some 20-plus year old stuff buried in old boxes that I prefer not to subject anyone else to. I would suggest you exercise some of that same restraint here, as well.
