More explorations with a Yamaha D5000 digital delay and a CS-356. Atmospheric reggae-inflected backing track (with synth pads, skanking guitar rhythm and wind chimes) by my friend Taylor_Nut. I don't have and don't play a bass, so here I knocked a guitar track down an octave via software, but left some of the original in. The timing of those two parts drifts a little here and there to create the illusion of two players, but I liked the fake harmony at the end. I really like this delay -- very lush.

You have a sweet ability to produce some simple yet very moving pieces of music. This is one such piece. Very nice indeed well done

I figured I should give a listen to something a bit further back. Really enjoy this one. Love the tone, echo is right so cool...the way I'd like it. Nice floating feeling I get, relaxing in a warm soothing atmosphere, a dose of a musical natural high it is. I always enjoy your phrasing, octaves, simple but very focused phrases/riffs,- you have this great melodic sense in addition, which really makes it great, with all your touches on the fretboard with meaningfuless. This is an altering mind peaceful one. Most enjoyable Clay.
WONDERFUL tune! Thanks for the pleasure; most inspiring. -Vesa.

Oh, man, I love the sound of those delayed guitars. There's a raggae quality to the drums and bass in this -- but that delayed guitar just does it for me. Great tone on the geeters, too. I absolutely love this -- a lot.

Have to agree with Jaugernaut, there's something about this that does remind one of Robin Trower. Maybe it's the dreamy feel to the production, little reminiscent of something from the Bridge of Sighs era Trower. Thinking you could change the title to "Mo BlueBerry".
The more bluberry I smoke, the better this track feels...
Good work man.

This is a really nice cool piece of music - reminds me a little of Trower, but then, not being much of a guitarist, what do I know? Well, I know what I like and this is cool stuff.

I'm a midlife blueshound who hasn't been in a band since high school, when my main ambition was to sound as much like "Get Yer Ya Yas Out" as possible. Still workin' on that in my self-taught way, but except for an ocassional open mic blues jam most of my playing time now is over backing tracks created by myself or online friends from some of the communities I frequent. At my site over at Soundick (which never seems to make you throw anything away) there are now over 500 of such efforts archived. That's a lot of recording practice, but only a marginal increase in playing chops.

I bring most of the very best stuff over here when I remember to do it, so the things here generally stand the test of time to me. Elsewhere I'll tackle anything from blues to rock to jazz to funk if I can find a way in, but the results don't always merit (or reward) repeated listen.

Fun for me, but as they say: your mileage may vary!

Thanks for stopping by. I promise to review your stuff "real soon".
