<p>Coerce. An upcoming indie/alternative rock band, formed in late 2009. <br />Based out of New York City, and comprised of three members, Coerce has a very unique, appealing sound.<br /><br />Taking influence by artists in the same vein as Deftones, Thrice, Dredg, and Glassjaw, Coerce has developed a signature style of play that brings together catchy driving guitar, strong bass lines, high energy drum work, lead guitar, ambience, and powerful vocals. They're sound is catching on like fire, and has already won them over a mature following in the NY/NJ area. <br /><br />Recently finished with the recording of their first release, a 6 track Ep/Demo "This Sunset in Black and White", Coerce hit the NY scene in mid-2010, and has been gaining momentum ever since. With each show they gain more fans and industry buzz. They are also nearing completion of their new single, "The Roulette", and will be shooting a video in 2011, in addition to an upcoming collaborative project with artist/engineer KNS.<br /><br /><br />Coerce is a band that should be followed closely in 2011. They still havent decided on a record label...</p>
