The Hardest Part
You said we’d be better off apartI never got the chance to disagreeYou claimed that I didn’t have a heartBut you’re wrong - I feel it...
You said we’d be better off apart I never got the chance to disagree You claimed that I didn’t have a heart But you’re wrong - I feel it breaking every day
And maybe I’m the bigger fool And now I’m wondering what to do
The hardest part is knowing where to start I’m stuck here at the hardest part The hardest part is knowing where to start I’m stuck here at the hardest part
Friends say it’ll get easier each day But that’s not the way it’s happening for me The days go by, and still I wonder why We go on, pretending to be free
And maybe I’m the bigger fool And now I’m wondering what to do
The hardest part is knowing where to start I’m stuck here at the hardest part The hardest part is knowing where to start I’m stuck here at the hardest part
Time flies but not for me I‘m stuck here in the moment I last saw you Your tears flowed like a hundred falling stars How I wish that I’d reached out and touched you
The hardest part is knowing where to start I’m stuck here at the hardest part The hardest part is knowing where to start I’m stuck here at the hardest part I’m stuck here at the hardest part I’m stuck here at the hardest part I’m stuck here at the hardest part

Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer and engineer, Danny Medakovic has been gathering the respect of fellow musicians and music fans since moving to Hamilton, Ontario 20 years ago.
His 2002 release "Honeybucket" received great reviews from local media. He then spent the next 6 years focusing on arts projects related to raising money for homeless shelters, including producing 3 CDs of original music by local singer/songwriters which collectively raised about $25,000 for the Hamilton Out of the Cold program, and shined a light on the great musical talent in Hamilton, Ontario.
In 2012, Dan formed the alt-country band Fry Truck , with fellow singer-songwriters Dave Pomfert and Mike Trebilcock along with some of Hamilton's best including Matt Coleman (fiddle), Linda Duemo (drums), and Carrie Ashworth (bass). A few lineup changes later, Fry Truck has continued to gather rave reviews and has played several festivals including Supercrawl (3 years out of 4).
Dan has just released his new CD Jolley Cut! The CD features 12 new songs and performances by some of Hamilton's finest studio musicians. Check it out h ere!
