I have absolutely zero business trying to sing a Joni Mitchell song. But it is one of my favorite songs and I thought musically it would be fun to do. She is an amazing song writer. Where is Dave Grohl when you need him. He would have sounded good on this.

I did not quite get what was coming at first and then decided I was very likely going hate it but actually this is a very good idea for a cover - sort of shifts and pulls out the great harmonics of the original. Neat. ftlpope

don`t think I`ve ever heard someone else do a JM tune this way. Not easy to make all her shifts&turns flow, but you pull this one off nicely. Sounds good. Hear what you`re sayin about D.Grohl, but I also hear a distinct Styx influence here

I was writing back to you and this song came on - man, I haven't heard this song since the 70's or at least the 80's! It's funny, cause even though I was listening to the way you were performing it - which made it a new song to me - and combine that with the fact that I couldn't help being reminded of all kinds of events from the past... I had to stop typing back my reply to say SOMETHING! Thanks for stirring up all those memories and cool interpretation!
