DreamCycle was born after Lynda Upthegrove and Sean Allen met around an
outdoor brewery "camp fire" and discovered they had a lot in common
musically, with many years of experience as songwriters, performers, and
music teachers. Sean was impressed after listening to Lynda's latest CD on
iTunes, and when they got together for there first jam, was happily surprised
that she wanted to do the same thing as he did: write and record edgy rock
songs with positive lyrics and a lot of human feeling.

Thus their first EP entitled "Sound Canvas One" came into existence.
The EP was written and self produced in Ocean Wave Studios in Half Moon
Bay, California. Lynda sings all lead vocals and most harmonies. Sean played all the electric and acoustic guitars and most bass. Phil Smith played the
drums. They are currently working on new material that they are really
excited about.

Sean Allen

Sean Allen fell in love with the guitar as a kid, and by High School he was
teaching guitar to 12 students. Starting at age 13 he has played in many
different bands playing rock, metal, reagae, ska, pop and punk. He was lucky
to play with many outstanding musicians along the way including
Eric Valentine (now multi-platinum record producer), and Paul De Lisle, now the
bass player for Smashmouth.

Lynda Upthegrove

Lynda has written albums, and has done gigs in London, Birmingham,
Liverpool the Shetland Islands, West Virginia, Jamaica and now in California
with DreamCycle. Lynda won a John Lennon song writing award for her first
album, though the rock direction of DreamCycle is more what she has always
been aiming for.
