The Theory of Love
Two lovers in a moonlight dance
Who happened to meet by chance
Was it written in the stars?
Or just some chemical romance?
That put it all in motion
That put it all in motion
It’s the theory of love
And it’s never been proven
And yet like Romeo and Juliet
Stories have been told of love as old as time
And so, poets struggle to give meaning
To this thing inside we can’t resist
Compounds or moonlight,
Fate, gods or star guides
Love is a mystery
And the poets will write
On what I feel tonight
