Timeline

Galacticore is a 4 piece all original Rock band based in Rockland Massachusetts. Galacticore's lineup consists of Roger Beattie: Lead Guitar, Vocals, Keys, and Production. Bob Matlack: Bass and Production. John Lesha: Guitar, Drums, Keys and Production and Jim Pizzi: Drums. Original 3 members, John, Bob, and Roger have been acquainted with each other for many, many years. Bob and Roger's musical connection can be traced all the way back to 1989. John's musical connection with the other 2 members began in earnest in 1997. Shortly thereafter Roger and John formed the band Hindered Spirit, another original project that lasted till 2004. 

Galacticore began in 2010 after a chance meeting between Roger and Bob......at the local Walmart of all places. Both had been in contact with John, so shortly thereafter the band formed. Jim Pizzi is the newest member having just come aboard in early 2017. Vehemently original in an area who's already anemic music scene does not support original music in any way, Galacticore remains as determined as ever to stay true to the course. The band strives to achieve a big sound, primarily guitar and bass driven, they also liberally employ keys, orchestral instruments, and samples in their material as well. The ultimate goal being to hopefully create an expansive and multi faceted, signature sound.
