This is very cool! A great track from the start. Really dig the overall feel of this song. Everything about this song just feels right. Well written, produced well with solid vocals and lyrics. Great job and keep the faith!

Good friends for the last 11 years, Brendan Shay (Be.In.Darkness) and Mason Reta (M.Careless), have been in bands together before. Ghosts and Paper Hearts was different because it was fueled by an interest in the Paranormal. Lyrically it is based on experiences Shay has had with the supernatural and also a deep love for anything horror related. One rainy February day Shay and Reta sat down and began playing songs written years ago till discussion began of forming a band with a different vibe. A vibe that would send chills to the very core of all who would listen. They where contacted by a drummer named Nick Barnhart (Nik Knytmare) in March of 2010 via an ad placed on Craigs list, and began work on a tune called Nox Noctis Memoria. Barnhart had a punk rock background playing in a band called the Brink for many years. Then came Matt Early (SPIKE) on Bass the complete the Rhythm section. In Late 2011 The Embalmer took the position of Bass and SPIKE moved to guitar to join M.Careless. Since the formation of Ghosts and Paper Hearts they have played shows all over Central Ohio with bands such as Always Ten Feet Tall, The Ataris, Gasoline Heart and in October of 2010 opened for The Legendary MISFITS. They have just completed their first full length album entitled “Consequences Of My Downfall'. Ghosts And Paper Hearts bring melodic guitar riffs, haunting vocals, thumping drums and bass to their live set. As well as enough energy to bring even the dead back to life.
