Like the other tunes, there is drama here - so intimate and the juxtaposition of the playful with the morose is what makes this high art cabaret for me. These songs turn on very fine musical brush strokes - you might have expected a distorted electric guitar with acoustic bass, accordian and acoustic guitar to fail badly but it does not because this music has 'wit' in the classic sense. ftlpope

This is a refreshingly different, quirky yet extremely dynamic. This has a traditional European feel to, then it delivers the sting an almost rock style finish. A very well balanced and unusual piece well done
