@gordon-leed
And just a thought .... :)
Whilst I am not complaining, because it is nice to notice that there are people who appreciate my musical enrgies enough to download them, don't you think it strange, that during the first year when I had most at a price of between $0.50 and $1.00 nobody bothered ... only one (Thanks a lot Rob !) ... and during that time I had a total of around 67 or 69 downloads .. .
Since I returned to here and made everything free to downlaod ...wow ... almost 700 in about a month!! Pity I didn't get 50 cents a go fr those !! hahah
I dunno if it's the state of the woprld economy which causes this phenomena , or just human natuyre...but I have to admit I'd rather have it free than have to pay for it !! )))
Just one thing...I WILL be putting 'Sleeping Dragons' back up at ONE DOLLAR so PLEASE download it for that paltry sum...or I SHALL AWAKEN THE DRAGONS!! the proceeds got to an Animal Charity
Thanks for your support...free or otherwise the downloads give me encouragement to do more work and try to improve on the older ones.

i had noticed the same thing going on on my page my friend. every day 6 downloads, and in a couple of months went from 15 dl's to 400 plus!and allways between 2am and 4am in the morning EST. i found that very strange. and after doing some checking there may be more to this then you may know. it would appear that there are other radio stations on the web
{ not just mix radio } with the programing abilities to auto-link directly to our pages via some computer program, download our music and play them at will. now I DID NOT have a prob. with some one comming over and down loading my music NOT AT ALL!
but when some radio station is making up there daily play list with my music without my permission, i say hell no! i derserve to be paid!...... or at least asked first!
and this is not b.s. i did my homework! and this is why when my music goes back up it will all be for sale! weather it sells or not!
i will also say that i hope the good folks here at mix would never give this type of permission to any one without at least asking the members how they would feel about such things.that to me is just another form of piracy! and i hate pirats! aaarrrrrrrr
It's not the world economy mate.
It's the global music scene in general.
There is so much music it is even hard to give it away sometimes.
It is no relation to quality.
Rob has also bought several pieces of mine, including whole albums!!
Best wishes mate, and try not let it grind you down,it's just the nature of the beast.
I know some will disagree and say if you give it away it makes the culture of free music worse, but what can you do?
You're a musican and youw ant to share your work, placing it in people's lives.
Maybve that comes without price?
