What a smooth and tastey intro. Love your perfectly suited keys throughout! And your partners in rhyme provide such a masterful flavor to this versatile song of building power and ultimate grace. Beautifully performed, produced and conceived! What a treat to hear!

Wow, absolutely breathtaking piece David. Beautiful piano intro and the vocalist has an exceptional voice. Composition is brilliant. Love the build at the 3 min mark. Just seems so natural and fitting, I barely even noticed it. The guitar work is oh so sweet, almost Brian Mayish to my ears anyways. Just filled with melody, oh man this is exquisite. Very gentle outro. Two thumbs up my friend. A definite winner here !!!!

Dave, very cool monologue...awesome singer, first sounding a bit Diana Ross-ish, but then sounding different after the big change (3min+). Nothing in the first part really prepares one for the big change...and love it when that kicks in. Really an awesome song. Top notch writing. ~Blake

Your Ministry of Progrock (Grandprogrock) Hosts - Welcome!!!

Well, as I've said numerous times.......I love to listen as much as I love to play, and I now I get to have fun promoting again, as in the days of working in the record stores. I LOVE finding new artists and new music and I have found MIXPOSURE to be a GOLDMINE for PROGRESSIVE ROCK MUSIC.

I hope this Prog Rock Genre Thing catches on and we can do things to make it interactive. How? I don't know, but suggestions.....volunteers.....ideas.....anything will be GREATLY appreciated. In the meantime, my half-brain will be working away to come up with things to do or ways to promote our GREAT ARTISTS.
PEACE and PROG ON, Brothers......hehehehehe

~Rob

As Rob and I are building this page (now with 9 songs) I've come to realize how much I love it here. This has blossomed in a few short days into such a magical blend of progrock from such wonderful artists. I am hearing all sorts of styles, attitudes, vibes, approaches, and it's sweet music to my ears. In my book it's a testament to the beautiful creativity and imagination to be found inside this genre.

I also love hearing from the artists themselves. I think Joe in one of his comments here said that it moves artists more away from the 'virtual world' and closer to the real and personal world. Couldn't agree more. It really is a pleasure to be associated with this endeavor. We'll be attempting to cycle more progrock artists into the spotlight in the future. Happy listening to all!!

~Blake
